  I'm diesel mechanic and i know of trucks quitting at filling station because too much water accumulated in fuel or from rain entering tanks..that seldom happen with gas..Plus deisel is $4 or more per gal, while gas is $3.50.. ...

  I'm diesel mechanic and i know of trucks quitting at filling station because too much water accumulated in fuel or from rain entering tanks..that seldom happen with gas..Plus deisel is $4 or more per gal, while gas is $3.50..Even large trucks are being switched to natural gas. All city transit bus in large citys are required to be natural gas (not Lp)..And Some rubbish and concrete mixers are going to cng or Lng (natural gas)..Deisel is ok in vw golf but in large truck they only get 10 miles per gallon!

  Please be informed that DIESEL COSTS MORE THAN gasoline not because of sacrcity. The preference for gasoline engines is overwhelming for passenger cars. Trucks alr almost always diesel engines. America felt diesel had more polutants than gasoline, and thus preferred to limit the number of vehicles running on diesel, even though American diesel is more refined than in most countries.
