My sentiments exactly. I suppose these "players" are honorable in their private lives, but , in terms of football, this is the worst assemblage of individuals masquerading as Black Star "players." The coach, obviously, lacks the technical 'cred' to manage the team; witness the shoddy way our "players" took the penalty kicks in the game with Burkina Faso, apparently they had not practised set plays like free kicks, corner kicks, and penalty kicks for such eventuality. The players' passes were for the most part aimless and the front line lacked cohesion. In the main, the players' attitude was lackadaisical. And Asamoah Gyan does not deserve to be captain; of course, he has been lucky to score a goal here or there, but I submit he does not have the skills of a great player. By appointing him captain, Kwesi Appiah has rubbished such football greats who captained the Black Stars, Charles Kumi Gyamfi, Edward Jonah Aggrey-Fynn, Wilberforce Mfum, Addo Odametey, John Eshun, Kuku Dadzie, Abedi Pele, and the rest.

Ghana dont have a football team instead Appiah selected dancers to represent ghana in football. Those midfielders are war dancers that cant pass a ball. Please don't do if not you will always be having broken heart.

The coach has done his best. The last cup of nation Ghana won was under a Ghanaian coach. The fact of the matter is that the guys who play for the country now have no humility to come under submission. This is the truth, why? Because they are richer than the Ghanaian coach. going for an international coaches, who are typical rejects in their own countries is not the answer. Well, unfortunately we have the mentality that everything foreign is better....

One other point is that the current crop of players are not patriotic. I recommend that next time Ghana goes for a team with guys who have not made it yet. They will be eager to impress and I am sure they will be submissive and ready to learn. As a result they will do very well.. Until then, expect another big disappointment......

And why were are the defenders so far apart? You only split when the keeper takes a goal kick not when the ball is in our half.
