Does the Govt of Ghana think at all? This is a country that rations power supply and they want to put more burden on the meagre source of it. Is making this switch so important to this govt? Even here in the US, the Govt did supply the boxes but also gave the people a 3yr advance notice. Look at what a 3rd world country like Ghana behaving?

been done in usa and what they haven't told you is you have to buy a new tv or buy a converter box!
