i hope Delta,British airways and Lufthansa. lower their prices enough to bankrupt ghana air ways#2 in 1 month time!

The business of government is to govern, not to run an airline. If they re-establish a government owned national carrier, it will quickly degenerate into what we have seen in the past; bad management, free seats for anyone connected to government or the governing party and debts which the tax payers of Ghana have to pay off.

This is forward thinking and such a venture could be a private-public partnership to enable private investments with government shares and an efficiently managed service which will look at Ghana not only from the perspective of its oil economy but beyond that, including tourism, international conferencing etc. if the government is planning to expand and modernise our international airport? What is the sense in not having a national career to match?

The goverment can't even provide basics like water and electric. The only need for a national airline is to provide free tickets to all goverment officials and family

Gov't. has no business in the running of airlines. Just creat the necessary atmosphere for the smooth creation and running of businesses.
