  How come that the Cedi is so high against the major currencies? Even USA, Europe, Japan, China, India etc. are doing everything possible to keep their currencies low to encourage export and make imports expensive. And Ghana? ...

  How come that the Cedi is so high against the major currencies? Even USA, Europe, Japan, China, India etc. are doing everything possible to keep their currencies low to encourage export and make imports expensive. And Ghana? Please be realistic about the value of the Cedi.

  We are awaiting the Report in earnest. It will be interesting to know whether Ghana is getting value for money against its natural and artificial resources. Our tax system has not been clear enough to us to make positive judgement whether investors are ripping off the country. If the Report is published, potential investors may take advantage of the country's low taxation regime to make long-term investments in it.
