Corruption will not allow any state owned company to function in Ghana. From the common man on the street to the man at the top know that TOR is highly corrupt.

In fact it not easy for an outsider to gain employment in that company. Positions are kept for children when they are still at school. Your excellent qualification can not get you employment in that company. It has been going on for ages and the successive rulers in Ghana have never been able to rectify the situation.

It records records debt in the books when the money has actually been been collected already and shared. Our security agencies are useless, they only care about politics and political opponents.

They employ their cronies to work in places they are not qualified to work. All politicians including the elephant and umbrella parties must stay away from such institutions. Go to places like TOR, NPA, EPA, GAEC, GSA(GSB), etc and they politicians put their puppets there.

Woyomi's $54M plus the cost of the 45 new constituencies plus the increase in MPs Pay, plus the GC50k rent allowance for MPs, etc., could have been used to replace these equipment and brought in $65M revenue for Ghana.

RECENTLY THEY TOLD LIES THAT THE PIPELINE WAS DAMAGED. RECENTLY RUSSIA BUILT A 4000 KILOMETRE PIPELINE FROM SIBERIA TO THE PACIFIC AND IT IS WORKING. THIS OUR 25KM PIPELINE CAN BE PROTECTED IF THE WILL IS THERE. BIG PEOPLE ARE NOW LIFTING OIL AND ALSO INVOLVED IN TRANSPORTING SAME TO AKOSOMBO. If TOR is not functioning effectively, fire the top management and bring in competent leaders. Who is the Minister in charge of energy? Is he sleeping on the job or he has not yet been vetted?

When it comes to priority, the government does not get it right. The government Ghana government in not in tune with times. Gone were those days, when it was tactically right for every state to have its own refineries. Todays inter-dependence or globalisation demands government been wise enough to carry less financial burden and rather collect taxes from private establishments. If the government allow private investors
to own or build and run such industries, would it not have time to concentrate on achievable demands of the people?
It is well noted that Ghanaians work harder, under private enterprise than State-owned ones. The State interferes in management What is even serious is that, under socialist planning, such industries were established only to meet the demand of the nation with profits not been the motive. Ghana is carrying heavy loads, which can be aided by private or multi-national companies.
Tor is would eventually bring down, Ghana Commercial Bank.
We need unlimited supply of water, electricity,petroluem fuel, washroom.
We still pay for all these things, therefore, the government must be bold to allow private entrepreneurs into these business. The government must hand down all such business.
