  IT SHOWS DE WEAK SYSTEM WE HAVE IN THE GHANA PRISON SERVS.CREATE GOOD PROGRAMS TO REHABILITATE THIS PRISONERS, INSTEAD OF MALTREATING & DEHUMANIZING THEM AND EVEN MAKING MONEY OUT OF THESE POOR SOULS.

  Very pathetic indeed! I feel very sorry for the 22-year old man. Yes, he is a man, but his case could be one of KLEPTOMANIA.
  
  Could some influential and legal and medical brains in the audience intervene and have Augustine examined properly for any defects, including KLEPTOMANIA? I strongly suspect that.
  
  At least the assessment must be made, and if found otherwise then should continue to learn his lessons, the very hard way, by languishing in jail. Even that, for theft of a handbag, the punishment appears in-proportionate. Please, let's help make the Prisons and their environment places for REFORM and NOT condemnation.
