Is this not double dipping? Why can’t they pay their rent like every Ghanaian worker? We’ve free car loan here, free petrol there, free phone bills and on and on and on—while the nation is damn broke!!

What about rent allowances for Regional Ministers and District Chief Executives (DCEs)?

See, folks, "the only time these THIEVES agree on things and work together is when their benefits are at stake." Immediately after they've STOLEN for themselves, then they jump on each other’s throats. BASTARDS!!

It is very outragious to be given fifty thousand as rent to them which of cause are still going to be giving car allowances with free fuel. It is only in Ghana that Mp's are given free accommodation. A country where the minimum daily rage is less than $2.00. Please mr. President, all children in Ghana deserve equal education. Our health system is at stake. Our hospital building are colapsing. Please MP's dont have to live on the expense of the tax payer and poor who voted them into power. Thank you Mr. Baah for bringing this up!

I do not support the building of the houses. They will turn run pass a law and buy them even cheaper. They are paid GHC7,200.00 far more than what most Ghanians are getting, they should use part to rent.

Just pay a good salary to all and let each person pay for their accommodation from their income. When they die, their salary seizes to be paid and therefore the allowance made for accommodation.

The gov't should build apartments for them in the city. These flats will be permanent housing for all future parliamentarians. But they should pay for all utility bills like everybody else who works for the gov't.
