They all folded up because what they provided was creating employment without oversight for viability. How can we get a different result when we keep doing the same thing over and over.

  NBSSI Stories upon fantasies stop short
  Governments comes and goes and NBSSI is shows nothing to prove her authority in the mainstream of her members than blah blah blah .Failures of NBSSI constitute ineffective leadership,inefficiecies of regional groups,incohession with banks,lack of payments after securingloans,inability to go beyond borders, proactive drive to reach out to international development banks ,lack of vision ,
  lack of support from the grassroots.
  At such the NBSSI can be seen working on the surface and yet shallow within
  an comparable to sinking sand ..
  Ghana Investment Promotion Council can be a partner for NBSSI to collaborate and reach out to reliable institutions for capital provisisons and expertise and business seminars for improvement.
  In between 1988 -91 I single handly organized the Central Regional branch of NBSSI using my own resources andcar
  and rounded 200 members in all distritc in Central Region. After frorming the organization ..i collaborated with Regional head of PAMSCAD and received funding to supprt the members and saw to its repayments.
  This impressive result convinced UNDP branch at Cape Coast to rally behind us and thru partnersship the then head of UNDP/Cape Coast sponsored five top members ...Mr .Ibrahim Biney(alum pot)
  Mrs. Anamua (assoted womens beads ) Majoub(brake lining),Mr. Maye(wood craftworks) and mine humble self (soap product and utensil cleaning products)
  WE BECAME RECOGNIZED AS THE FISRT EVER
  NBSSI TEAM TO HAVE PARTICIPATED IN AN
  INTERNATIONAL TRADE FAIR IN GHANA,in 1991 ..... in collaboration with UNDP.
  
  The inability of NBSSI to boost image and achive objectives in Ghana is the
  higher interest rate for laons 20-30%
  
  NBSSI formed in 1985 and I used to travel all alone from Mankessim, Ajumako and Cape COAST to attend meetings .... but its economic influence is not realized due too beaureaucrasy ,pragmatic leadership.
  Mr. Abdul Rahim -what is 1 million cedis funding for NBSSI ?
  Ghana Commercial Banks only receives and lend not huge sums for NBSSI...
  GCB is BIG FOR NOTHING...CAN'T SUPPORT
  NBSSI ....30% INTEREST RATE ?CAN U?
  GCB IS DRAINING BORROWERS LIKE RUSSIAN BANKS ....BORROWERS TURNS SLAVERY.
  Abdul Ibrahim's NBSSI has three ways solutions to map out for recognition 1.ENTERPRISES LENDING BANK.by govt.
  2.Going Beyond Borders
  3.Collaboration to willing local bank
  The Chinese,americans,japanese, europeans and Soviets recognized and supported their home made products,the micro, small and medium size companies
  to become what they are today...
  WHEN WILL OUR LEADERS,BANKERS,POLICY MAKERS,ECONMISTS,LEARN FROM HISTORY ?
  AFRICANS WE ARE ...AFRICANS WE SHALL ALWAYS BE.....IN THE PIT OF POVERTY.
