So please don't mess with your political career and go back to basics, read more about our President Dr Kwame Nkrumah, the visionary, the President who Ghana on top of the World, the Presidemt who has our Nation at heart. Maybe, they should all join the NDC and form a 'militant' or 'national' tendency to sell their policies and try to bring the NDC closer to the people in terms of quality service delivery-water, electricity, education and agric and IT. They could learn from similar policies the People's Redemption Party (PRP) of Mallam Aminu Kano (the real Saint of Nigeria), Wole Soyinka, Chinua Achebe, Professor Eskor Toya etc tried implementing in the Old Kano and Kaduna States(1979-83). Today in Nigeria, the Action Congress is implementing a people oriented programmes in Lagos and Etiki States.Lagos is cleaner today than Accra and Kumasi. Some streets have solar lights in Lagos, traffic is under control in Lagos and one only need to check the States' web sites to see words in action. Unity without purpose is useless.

I however agree with him on the point of the dwindling fortunes of especially the CPP. In fact there are many in the NDC leardership that are more Nkrumaist than a score of those who parade themselves under the red cockerel. The NPP and NDC parties are corrupt political parties that have set Ghana back for some 40 years; a case study that even this bought PhD holder ought to know. Ghana was in the same state of political and economic standing along with nations like India, Singapore/Malaysia and most South American nations. These nations have moved on to become economically independent and dictate their own respective political structures.
For a brain dead Sekou to infer that minority parties ought to fold into existing two corrupt parties that by any measure have driven Ghana into becoming a debt ridden nation with the propensity to go begging with their tin cups at hand is not my idea of what any disciplined and or principled person and or party should emulate.
Sekou might be Nkrumah's son but he may have been traumatized by the dead of the one and only Osagyefo; he needs help with his reasoning/analysis and evaluations, his look on life and has become an embarrassment and disgrace to anything Nkrumah and Nkrumah unquestionable foresight.

I have read several of the comments and opinions attributed to Dr Sekou Nkrumah and I cannot for the life of me understand what he is looking for in a party, leaders or government. To him it seems no one is good enough or doing a good job. Two days ago he was condemning the government, today it is the smaller parties. A few weeks back it was the NPP leadership.

What I find most sad and disturbing about the guy is that he lacks any intellectual credibility or principles. This is the same guy who keeps drifting from party to party and has lost the respect some people had for him. He has extremely little in common with his illustrious father the Osagyefo Dr Nkrumah who was principled, decisive, intelligent, visionary and action-oriented. I feel sorry for the guy in a way because sadly given the political expediencies of the time, he did not benefit directly from his father's guidance and counsel as he was growing up.

His environment has shaped him in a completely different way and in my opinion, badly. He lacks what it takes to be a good politician or even opinion former in my view and I would rather he simply found something useful to do for himself than these rants which only expose him as frustrated and confused.

I am sorry Sekou, you are just a pale shadow of our beloved Nkrumah whom some of us are following purely on the basis of learning and reading about his philosophy and his works (just like you, only you probably have not applied yourself that well to his works).

This Sekou chap is an utter disgrace to the name and reputation of his illustrious father. It is difficult to discern what or who has given him the impression that he has anything worthy to say.

Granted, it is a continuing source of disappointment that the CPP still languishes in the political doldrums. But any half decent analysis would tell you that part of the reason for that situation relates to the fact that, the NDC gutted the CPP by attracting away the bulk of its ideologically sympathetic membership who had become fed up with years of power famine. Between the mutilation suffered at the hands of the Danquah/Busia conspiracy (including 1966) and the murderous AFRC who truncated Limann's CPP government,Nkrumahists had had enough.

I don't blame them for joining the NDC bandwagon, after all, life is short. Perhaps, with a good cadre of sound intellectual leadership and a little bit of charisma,the Nkrumaists, could rebuild the solid coalition that handed them victory after victory at the birth of the nation, against formidable odds from within and without. Of course, it doesn't help that what passes for the leadership of the CPP over the last decade or so, has been so preoccupied with their own navels, with everybody wanting to be president, they have no more energy to undertake the real work of the party - persuading the electorate that the party's and the people's aspirations are one and the same and that they have a well thought out programme for achieving this.

The moronic utterances of this Sekou twit, has neither intellectual depth or merit nor practical coherence and doesn't even have the saving grace of principle.

I hope none of our kids are being influenced by this disgraceful young man and perhaps he could do us all a favour by shutting up and finding a corner somewhere to hide and feel sorry for himself. What a brat!
