The result is the murder of a senior official of the CPP and yet no officer is charged and the judges pass a ten year sentence. Discrimination in action in Ghana. Impunity in action. To kofi, it is wrong to kill, and we as a people must call for justice, justice and justice.The systematic impunity under the 8 year rule of Kufour, the 19 year rule of Rawlings must be addressed some day by the state.Eliminating political opponents like Mobilla is wrong and the principal of the nation Kufour must be held accountable. What did Kuffour gain by killing Mobilla after the elections he had won already? Some of you spew nonsense without knowing the story. Alhaji Mobilla was arrested by the Police by causing problems in Tamale by burning houses with his thugs. Why was he transferred from the Police station to the barracks? Because his marauding thugs converged on the Police station to forcefully free him and the Police sensing danger transferred him to the barracks. Alhaji Mobilla will be living today if it was not his mob who besieged the Police station. Those people who beat him to death have gone through trial and found guilty with appropriate sentence passed. It is not only Mobilla who has died in the custody of Police or the army in Ghana, what makes him special? The chairman of a moribund CPP in Northern region? Let's have our peace. Why was he the only person picked up if he was behaving like an Angel.

All human beings are equal. He is not the first to be killed, does matter, no one has the right to take some one's life that is the import of the commentary. He was taken from the Police station to the barracks for safety, why was he killed in such brute fashion Maha? Look at the picture?
It is the 'moribund' party, the CPP that led Ghana to independence, that helped so many African states have independence, it is the CPP that the NPP/PP/NLM leaders fought and only won with the support of the US in the army cum police traitors coup of 1966, setting Ghana backward.

Fact that others have died this way does not mean that Alhaji Mobilla death should be minimized, trivialized and compared to other unfortunate one. Stop the madness and respect the man. No matter what his offence was, the army had no business torturing him.

The other puzzle is why the police in charge of law enforcement should hand Alhaji Mobilla over to the army in a democracy. The officer that did that should be tired for derilection of duty.

The Police did not hand Mobilla to the Military as you think. When Mobilla was arrested, his marauding thugs who have been burning people houses besieged the Police station threatening to burn the place down if he was not released and that is why he was transferred to the barracks. I am not saying that others have been killed in similar circumstances and therefore Mobilla deserves to be killed. What I am saying is that, even the three Judges who did not commit any crime were killed and Ghana moves on after the killers were punished.

No, Mobilla was a criminal who had burnt the houses of some inhabitants of Tamale with his criminal gang and using guns to intimidate residents of Tamale.

They should pursue it to the ICJ and this is enough to expose them as an unprofessional entity. They did the same to the Ya Naa and went away free. Kofi decided to go hunting with his buddy, Kwame. So they loaded up Kofi's minivan and headed north.

After driving for a few hours, they got caught in a terrible rain. So they pulled into a nearby farm and asked the attractive lady who answered the door if they could spend the night.

'I realize it's terrible weather out there and I have this huge house all to myself, but I'm recently widowed,' she explained. 'I'm afraid the neighbors will talk if I let you stay in my house.'

'Don't worry,' Kofi said. 'We'll be happy to sleep in the barn. And if the weather breaks, we'll be gone at first light.' The lady agreed, and the two men found their way to the barn and settled in for the night.

Come morning, the weather had cleared, and they got on their way.

They enjoyed a great weekend of hunting.

But about nine months later, Kofi got an unexpected letter from an attorney. It took him a few minutes to figure it out, but he finally determined that it was from the attorney of that attractive widow he had met on the hunting weekend.

He dropped in on his friend Kwame and asked, 'Kwame, do you remember that good-looking widow from the farm we stayed at on our hunting holiday up north about 9 months ago?'

'Yes, I do.', said Kwame.
Did you happen to get up in the middle of the night, go up to the house and pay her a visit?'

'Well, um, yes!' Kwame said, a little embarrassed about being found out, 'I have to admit that I did.'

'And did you happen to give her my name instead of telling her your name?'

Kwame's face turned beet red and he said, 'Yeah, look, I'm sorry, buddy. I'm afraid I did.' 'Why do you ask?'

'She just died and left me everything.
