Let us wait and see what he will do in in the next couple of weeks.

The media also has a role to play in this tango officials are taking Ghanaians through. It should not be too much for a media house to dedicate space to follow up on who and who have declared their assets. they should keep it running to let Ghanaians know who are in default of declaring their assets.

If these politicians do not declare their assests as they are required to do under the constitution then they are breaking the law. They should be investigated by police and prosecuted for law breaking.

But, Lo & Behold, when it comes to "Assets Declaration", also in the constitution, THEY RUN FOR THE TALL GRASS—WHY, MPs?? Didn’t you take an OATH to support & defend the constitution? Don't use the constitution ONLY when it benefits you and not when it requires you to also do something. That’s HYPOCRISY on steroids.

There is too much illiteracy and ignorance in our system and it has offered a fertle grounds to politicians to take for a ride.
We always boast we appointed or voted for them but we dont have any authority over them.
Left to me alone, the whole country should lift our voices to ensure that the declaration is done but it is likely to find some of us working against this demand of the law.
I am really not motivated anymore to make any imput to national discourse.

Since Nkrumah right down to the current administration, which of them have the guts to declare his assets and force his ministers etc to do the same?

This is a clear manifestation that we cannot rule ourselves. When we implement the right policies, corruption will be a thing of the past and there are those who cannot live under such "clear weather". They prefer fuzzy or cloudy weather just to ply their illicit trade.

The idiots in authority are quick to enforce the provision of the constitution which seeks to disenfranchise a segement of the population which makes foreign exchange easily accessible to the country, yet they turn a blind eye when it comes to impoverished MPs who become fabulously rich overnight just for becoming MPs os ministers. Their tenure as MPs and ministers are not guaranteed and yet award themselves $50,000 car loans,are given 5 years rental subsidy even when some of them are boycotting parliamentary proceedings.These bastards will continue to take us for ride because no one holds them accountable.When it comes to amassing illegal wealth MPs from all the political are guilty. Their bloated sense of entitlement should be deflated.They shoul not be paid until they declare their assets.
