It could be there was no Oil in the engine, or a cable touch could also cause fire outbreak.
No oil cannot cause fire,it will cause engine seizure and damage.Touching wire can burn down a bus if the wire comes into contact with fuel, mind you this is diesel, maybe there was a leaking fuel and before diesel burns like t ...

Do you know the cause of the fire? You cannot conclude that it was negligence on the part of the driver as the problem could develop after a pre-trip inspection. Thanks to God no one was injured.
The Driver must be held responsible, he is found fault. How can you move a Vicle on such journey without a pre-check? He must be sacked and dealt with. Ghanaians go free always after serious cases like this nature, why? It is ...

No wonder the bus caught fire. Why do you pack 83 people in one bus? Is it a train? Even a double-decker bus cannot take 83 people. Carelessness or ingnorance?
You believe these cheap journalists and their figures? Imagine students looking for their belonging in a bus which was "completely burnt". Most of their stories are so absurd!!
If a vehicle catches fire, one would suspect the first speculation by the Fire Service to be 'electrical fault' rsther than 'mechanical', until proper evidence is available. Our experts must learn how to tell 'nkontompo a ern ...

God is great, Glory be to God, Ghanaians will cry loud only no one asks "where was God when the bus caught fire"?
From Govt down to the street sweeper in Gh is characterised with negligence. We are the cause of our own problems.
You are so honest to have included yourself as you fit somewhere between govt and street sweeper.

We just thank God for the lives of these students as well as the driver.Had it not be for God the story will be diffrent by now
God love His children and delivers them from the hands of destroyers. When LMVC bombers were making their baseless claims and were mentioning that His Excellency JM is married to a Brong Ahafo and connecting it to Afari Djan, ...

if the bus was completely burnt beyond recognition, how come that the students were able to retrieve some of their belongings after the Fire people killed the fire?
A bus driver is not a mechanic, if a school owns vehicles which they use for transporting students, they should employ a mechanic or contract with a mechanic shop for vehicle preventive maintenance.
I agree that the bus se ...

Don't blame the driver, Ghana is under a spiritual curse due to the activities of some power drunk politicians, in attaining stolen power, period.

Is it 83 students, or 8-3 (8 to 3, 8-3(8 minus 3. Waiting for your response please, author!
Either 8-3 or 8 minus 3 is not the point. This could be a typo, however, the driver shouldn't have relied on the other driver's for his own and the passengers safety. The driver could have taken his time to do pre-inspection ...
