Please deal with those people in the government who are lifting oil and sabotaging the oil refinery. The NPA top brass are all involved in these deals so they don't want the refinery to work. So also is the BOST set up refusing to use the pipeline.

Barely a year ago the Vice President Mahama promised to name all streets in Ghana and number them to the teeth to wild applause. A month later among a streak of promises he came out with some bizarre idea of transforming our street lights from electricity into solar-generating process as a better Ghana Agenda. He turned around the same week and promised the industrial sector a computerization and automated process using CNC for production. Boy, that agenda for a better Ghana !He went to America to invite investors to do business in Ghana, the land of opportunities. That was good and statesmanly. What he failed to realize was lack of power or reality behind his promises. First an investor bringing his machines and equipment to Ghana will will be faced with little option but pack and leave the same week he experiences this unending power failures.

What baffles the mind is his unwitty promise to Togo and neighbouring countries to supply them electricity. Look ooh Ghana of all nations promising to supply electricity to an outside country.

I wonder how strong is his credibility with those he shared podium in Togo, Ivory Coast, Bukona Faso, inter alia.

Idiots build the roof before they lay the foundation. People who are supposed to think for this country are dumb and shallow-minded.

We are so far behind because we fail to think before we act. Government after government keep failing the people with disappointing performances, sometimes to levels of embarrassment.

Take simple Spintex Road for example. It has taken good four years to construct a mere distance of twenty yards from the Accra Mall heading towards Tema. And it appears the pedestrians enjoy driving on the dusty filthy road. And this includes the most influential bunch of so-called intelligent representatives of the nation who happen to live at high places like Manet Court and Regimmanuel complexes.

I sometimes think the mind of the average Ghanaian is made out of faeces.

What is the President going to tell the world tomorrow about the state of the nation ? Electricity supply is a nightmare - lucky to go through half a day with power supply. Water runs at drips from faucets. Increase in gasoline prices has ignited economic turmoil, giving rise to price of commodity and fare increases at free will. Highways are idiotically constructed without pedestrian cross-bridges, giving rise to high and unusual number of road casualties. Rise in tuition fees in response to expression of willingness to pay by some idiots who happen to form a sizable voting block. Ebbing national confidence as evidenced during recent humiliating defeats at the hands of Mali and Bukuna Faso.
Gold from Ghana disappears from our soil under the hard noses of officials designated to protect our export security. Our lands and rivers are being polluted by illegal miners featuring Chinese immigrants. Political parties feuding over election irregularities and stealing of ballots. Sharp Parliamentary divide between majority and minority members with daily boycotts and acrimonious contentions. Endorsement of homosexuality by the highest officials whose conducts must exemplify our national morals. The cedi falling precipitantly headlong over the dollar. The courts issueing ridiculous and bizarre rulings,inducing deterioration of confidence in the judiciary (freeing Wayome's Accounts)

Fellow Ghanaians, whether as a diehard member of NDC,NPP,CPP,PPP or ABCD, THIS IS THE HONEST STATE OF THE NATION !!
And I am praying that the lights dont go off tomorrow while the President delivers his State of The Nation address. Good Luck !

the presidency knows for sure that all ghanaians can do at worst is to lament. so they also feed you with anything. truth be told this issue has been given different interpretation i believe many a ghanaian have lost count. the factors have included:

1. low level of water in the dam

2. high energy cost to power thermal plants

3. worn out tranformers

4. inadequate funds

you name them. now there is enough water in the dam. tarrifs have been increased. new transformers have been procured and installed. infact gridco have intimated government have provided all needed funding. what else is the excuse now.

sometimes some of the reasons given are so unrelated one cannot fathom why they come to tell us this. everywhere citizens always have some level of reservation about their leaders. however the total loss of trust and confidence can be extremely dangerous and i hope the prez. is evry much aware of this. i rest my case.
