The NDC would have to explain to Ghanaians how a dead man came to author and sign a letter!

The opening paragraph states, “I came to serve; I have finished my time here on earth and have moved on to everlasting rest and celestial duties with my heavenly father.”

The immediate question is; how did the dead man come to sign his own personal tribute, since he is already in heaven?

The letter then goes on melodramatically, “As you leaf through these pages of my life’s story, I pray to God that it touches your heart in many positive ways. Weep not, I am not dead. I am alive and awake in the Lord. Ghana will not die; Ghana will live to declare the works of the Lord. We just want gradual development, price stability and peace in our country. I think state of the union address in Africa is another campaign platform. P/NDC ruled Ghana for 20 years, but when NPP took Ghana for 8years real change manifested and the economy quadrupled.

This does not mean that I agree with every thing that NPP did when it was in power, but their eight years showed more progress than the 20years of the P/NDC rule. I didn't agree with NPPs over spending in Ghana@50. to me it was like crying more than the owners of the corps, building the so-called Jubilee House and wasting money on football and big conferences. If Kufour had been very careful and prioritize his developmental goals, NPP would have been in power continuously for 16years. We are not with NPP because of tribe or individuals. We are with the party because of its ideology.

If you take the oil revenue out of the equation, NPP did better than P/NDC from the junior Jesus days to Prof. Mills.

Talk is cheap – but I am still optimistic that Mahama will start “building his own statue” (metaphorically) by developing the country and the human resources as he states, instead of trying to build the statue of Nkrumah who has already made his mark. I hope by this statement “transparent and accountable governance”, he means rooting out corruption and declaring assets now.

The message sounded very convincing, actually, impressive. It will make a very nice “story book”. I can imagine the pain and anger of those contesting the results of the elections. I wish them better luck next time. You could tell their frustrations as they walked out and brooded in ENVY of the Elected President of the Republic of Ghana (HE JDM). “The future us here, the future is ours… wow, great statement”. His Excellency, I have a few questions about those big promises and projects mentioned:
(1) How quick will you revive the dying health sector?
(2) How soon are ALL those promises going to be fulfilled?
(3) Does the government and Ghana have the commitment and the zeal to finish those projects IF they are EVER started?
(4) In case they lose the next elections, are those realistic enough for the next party to continue?
(5) Who will be in charge of the projects? Technically knowledgeable staff or dumb politicians who are only there to amass wealth?
(6) On the issue of invasion of those illegal “rats” in our country who are committing all sorts of crimes, I think you have relaxed so when are you going to act on it? Pedophiles from the EU, drug lords and money launderers from the Americas, barbaric Ecowas nationals including Nigerian 419 and armed robbers , and Multi-criminal Chinese etc...
The best way to get the people working is to cut down on the number of committee meetings and get them to work. Also, sitting allowances should be discouraged in order to discourage unnecessary meetings and committees. This will cut down on the bureaucratic NONSENSE in the public sector.

He kept us waiting for over 3hoursafter we had officially been given the time of the appointment, only to emerge with some Chinese folks. Guess what, they were all eating pizza and burger and grinning foolishly. After he saw us, he was apologizing because he had seen "abrofo" but the team eventually abandoned the project. We forwarded it to Uganda, where they are benefiting and all the sponsorship has been sent to Uganda. I guess he expected us to drop cheques and cash before he would treat it with some respect.
