tax payment is an obligation so we shouldn't be talking as if we are lucky to have received that money. Let us know how much they made and what percentage of the their profit is that 400million they are talking about.

This kind of a company Ghana really needs in the country. A company that honours its obligation to pay its tax to the state. Not the one which comes to milk the country's resources and gives nothing back.

I am from ahafo in kenyasi and I can say with authorithy that Newmont is doing absolutly nothing to help us. Come and check the roads their big trucks ply horrible.
So how much profit has Newmont made. and will it pay the windfall tax?
