  PLEASE HELP US TO SURVIVE IN GHANA. NO WATER, ELECTRICITY AND WE STILL PAY THE BILLS. THE GHANA GOVERNMENT SHOULD SOLELY TAKE OVER THE MINING ACTIVITIES IN GHANA. NO CIVILIANS, NO FOREIGNERS.

  The death of underground mining is one of the problems.We used to have Bibiani, konogo, Tarkwa,prestea underground mines which employed thousands of people. now we have new mines doing open pit that employ about 10 % of the numbers. What must the mining communities do. Akwatia also collapsed.In Zambia, new investors in copper mining were forced to build underground mines but in Ghana we have free rides given to mining companies. We need to create ,more employment the population is growing.
