From what the CEPA Boss is saying it is clear that the only options available to Government are CUTTING EXPENDITURE and INCREASING REVENUE INFLOWS.

These two options are not difficult to achieve if the right persons are placed in positions to oversee Govt Operations in Revenue Mobilization and Pre-Expenditure Audit.

I am saying it for the record that if we put a very competent person who is INCORRUPTIBLE in charge of Disbursements and CONTRACT with one of the INTERNATIONAL Accounting Firms such as PWC to do a VALUE For MONEY Audit for International Transactions, Ghana will be able to SAVE at least 40% on its PROCUREMENT Expenditure.

For the REVENUE area, again, the key is to have an INCORRUPTIBLE STRONGMAN to head the Ghana Revenue Authority.

Customs will NOT only rely on INVOICES from Importers but request EXPORT DECLARATION DOCUMENTS from the Country of ORIGIN of the Goods. This takes ONLY a couple of Days at most.

I know some will argue that this may delay CLEARANCE of Goods at the Ports. NOT AT ALL. When Goods are consigned to a destination in Ghana documentation is received days before the Carrier vessel arrives. The Inporter can immediately present their Documents to the SPECIAL VERIFICATION DESK to proceed to pursue the EXPORT DECLARATION made in the Country of Origin. Every country that is a member of the WORLD CUSTOMS ORGANIZATION is obliged to release such information.

The Export Declaration documents COVER ALL Goods to International Destinations and cannot be doctored.

PLEASE, let's STOP making a mockery of our selves. These things I am talking about will not require much if for a change our LEADERSHIP will recognize that WE CANNOT KEEP DOING THINGS THE SAME OLD WAY and for some STRANGE REASON EXPECT DIFFERENT OUTCOMES. It Only Happens in LOTTERY.

Both NPP and NDC all missmanaged the economy. NPP came to borrow huge sums and did very little to show for it. NDC came in and continue to borrow.
