Look, no player is 100% guaranteed to be selected all the time until he stops playing football or his carrier is over.
Team selection is based on qualities, skills, talents, behavior, spirit and the know-how of each player of that particular period of football season.
NO player has a total guarantee for selection to the national team the Black Stars.
IF SELECTIONS ARE GUARANTEE, THEN, I WILL SUGGEST THAT THOSE PLAYERS WHO WERE DROPPED FROM SELECTION should also submit their temporary resignation letters to GFA as well.
THIS is exactly what happens when the FA do not give out DEFINITELY SUSPENSIONS to players who misbehaves to the FA and to the country as well.
DIP DOWN DEEP INTO THIS WHOLE ISSUE and you will find out that there was NO RESPECT IN THERE, but I WANT IT MY WAY ONLY WHICH WAS THERE.

THE whole thing started because of haters of the coach. Players challenging his decisions and so on.
GFA, you guys need to TAKE VERY STRONG decisions to bring OUT PROPER DISCIPLINE. And do not forget those making BAD comments against the FA. Do not involve them in anything.

The boys (Abedi boys) play good, but they can't use that fact to justify their permanent inclusion in the team for any tournament. As far as I know, the selection of the national team for any assignment is based on justify-your-inclusion criterion. These boys are good, they can always prove to the management why they should be included in the team. Who's advising these kids to take such a stand? What precedence are they setting for the up and coming players? Abede, I implore you to talk to your kids, for they are good and I would like that they go to heights you could not reach. But if you entertain these kind of boastfulness, you and your kids may live to regret later. The bible is a true living word.

In this case, Appiah did not even include him on the team. do you get the difference now? I believe you are educated, don't make such uneducated arguments. Plus, How many other players have taken this same decision? Essien, Gyan (now Captain), Muntari, KPB, etc just to name a few. However, this guy is part of the future for Ghana football whether you like it or not. I totally back his decision to help get some sense into the so called politicians at GFA. One rainy day she was in bed with her boyfriend when, to her horror, she heard her husband's car pull into the driveway.

"Oh my God - Hurry! Grab your clothes and jump out the window. My husband's home early!"

"I can't jump out the window. It's raining out there!"

"If my husband catches us in here, he'll kill us both!" she replied. "He's got a hot temper and a gun, so the rain is the least of your problems!"

So the boyfriend scoots out of bed, grabs his clothes and jumps out the window! As he ran down the street in the pouring rain, he quickly discovered he had run right into the middle of the town's annual marathon, so he started running along beside the others, about 300 of them. Being naked, with his clothes tucked under his arm, he tried to blend in as best he could.

After a little while a small group of runners who had been watching him with some curiosity, jogged closer.

"Do you always run in the nude?" one asked.

"Oh yes!" he replied, gasping in air. "It feels so wonderfully free!"

Another runner moved along side. "Do you always run carrying your clothes with you under your arm?"

"Oh, yes" our friend answered breathlessly. "That way I can get dressed right at the end of the run and get in my car to go home!"

Then a third runner cast his eyes a little lower and asked, "Do you always wear a condom when you run?"

Anyone criticizing and calling them unpatriotic and what not, should take a good look in the mirror and ask themselves what they have done for the country lately. The issue is not the players....but rather corrupt and bureaucratic bunch of egostistical organization. Nyantakyi's era as the FA president is one of the best things that has happen to B/Stars 2 W/C and 4 nations cup appearances out of which we earned a respectable position in world soccer. At the time of selection he was Marseille player of the month and was regularly starting matches. Yet he wasn't even included in the squad despite playing in the AFCON and WC qualifiers, that doesn't make sense and is not transparent. If he was good enough to play in AFCON 2012 and the WC and AFCON 2013 qualifiers PLUS playing for a big team in Europe, why wouldn't he think that not even being named the squad shows that the coach/GFA doesn't rate him, whilst other players can get a pass and flop badly in AFCON.

The only thing I would ask is all players who are choosing not to play be candid and tell us what exactly is happening with the GFA and Appiah so that we can see how GFA will respond.

Last thing, Gyan set a precedent...retire wait for GFA to beg and then come back, this is just the start of things to come unless the GFA is made to account for the issues within the BS set up.

If the Ayews want to be given preferential treatment as well as a gauranteed starting place in the team, they should first bear in mind that there are over 24million Ghanaians who also deserve to be given the same treatment. Afterall, we are all Ghanaians.

Jordan, I was one Ghanaian who celebrated when you opted to play for Ghana instead of France. But my father who died last year should have lived to see his pronouncement come to pass. My late dad said 'wrong decision' for the boy. I didn't understand him. This country is not worth dieing for was my father's( 87yrs engineer) comment. Apart from Asamoah Gyan's self inflicted temporary resignation, That of Essien, Kelvin, Sulley, Dede and Jordan shows a patten of poor management decisions. Take it from me, It can never be that all these boys are wrong. For Jordan, I agree with your decision for if the Pope can resign then Jordan can also resign.
