We can do it ourselves syndrome is what is killing us. We have some good doctors in Ghana but we lack the facilities and equipment to save lives after a major surgery in many cases. The right facility or equipment could have been used to tell whether it was safe to separate them. We need to stop this we can do it ourselves and the pomposity of some doctors and admit that we have serious limitations. I have no doubt that the baby could have survived a surgery in the West or the East. We die of simple things in Africa.
