MP, Mr Patrick Boamah, had wanted to ask the minister what steps he was taking to ensure that the needless fatal accidents on the George Walker Bush Highway were curtailed.

His intended question generated a huge controversy on the floor with the majority members of the House questioning why members of the minority want to ask questions of ministers they failed to vet and approve.

The constituents can send a delegation to the Minister or write or both, or better still invite their MP to a town hall meeting to account on how he is representing them in Parliament!!!

We must invest in technological solutions that deter crimes and generate revenue for the country. Placing high speed camera's to control over speeding and generate revenue. Ticket could be mailed or announce on the radio.

My goodness!!! With all the big bow tie wearing so called technocrats and engineers and foul mouth loud talking political leaders who take fat salaries and pecks, non had the gumption to know that dual 3 lane raod will lead to speeding and crossing challenge to the most youthful, agile and active pedestrians to cross. Where is the consideration of the elderly and ewak in society in planning? If this is the first experience of multi lane raods, let us learn some valuable lessons in implementing subsequent projects.

This is a very good move to show these MPs that the people voted for them and not the party. Now look at the problem these people are costing the party we the younth may take incharge in the near future. It is about time we call a spade a spade to these selfish leaders of our noble party they are turning it to notorious party. If I happen to be in Ghana I would have been taking part in this march to the mps house. I have wasted my vote.

There are simple rules and regulations in society and society is made up of reasonable persons. As reasonable beings we do not break the wall around the house of other people because the distance from the gate to his door is longer. We also do not have everyone living in a room to decide where he or she should have door to that room. I am of the view that the person giving this unreasonable or to go straight to the point lunatic threat has more than one door to his bed room or washroom. The death of the girl on the road lies on the heart and conscience of the parents who though their child to steal, by using unapproved route to cross the road.
What these people are saying is that they should be allowed to steal and we are all aware that stealing is a crime. The police must as a matter of fact and public order and peace arrest any person who cross the road at unapproved point, even the illegal ones provided by the authorities. Any person who says that he or she has the right to cross the road at unapproved point is attempting to break a law and must punished. This country is becoming a jungle and even people cross these unapproved points on their way to church. I am not a believer, but I am well aware that breaking simple regulation and rules is a sin, not only against God, but as well against man. I am sure that Christians and Muslims are told that anything that they do that demean the dignity and respect of another person is sin.
