Anyway Mr Vice Chairman I doff my hat to you. At least you've shown some maturity in this matter, unlike some of your party members who open their mouths and shoot out what comes into their minds without weighing its effect on the listening public.Have the NPP detected any cracks in their submissions to the Supreme Court? NPP should come clean and stop the childish behavior. If you do not question the legitimacy of President elect. Why then do you walk out in any event he partake.
It's true the evil Afari Gyan may have called the election in favor of the President and there are some disagreement. Hence seeking court mandate to overturn Afari Gyan's call. But that should not deny the fact, Ghana has a President elect.
If NPP has a case against Afari Gyan and are waiting on court to rule in their favor, due respect must be accorded to the President. Until any ruling from the supreme court, Mahama is the President and must be respected period.
Okay, "I do not question the legitimacy of a leader, yet anytime I see him I walk away". I am a born NPP but this behavior to me is silly and must be addressed or Mahama has every right to punish them by dropping their salaries for non performance.

What is this talk that you do not question the legitimacy of President Mahama but will not have anything to do with anything that he is involved in. This I do not understand.

If you do not question his legitimacy, then to you NPP people, President Mahama is the true president of Ghana. If that is so, then why the walkout? Is it the saying the you hate cocoyam but will enjoy its leaves? Where do you draw the line?

It is the declaration by the Chairman of the Electoral Commission, Dr. Kwadwo Afari Gyan, which legitimized the victory of President John Mahama and made him the legitimate president of Ghana period!

You can bring up some actions or inactions observed during the elections to be looked at in court for remedy but you have to accept that President Mahama is the true and legitimate president of Ghana.

With this confession, I want to hear the NPP accepting defeat and congratulating President Mahama.

Enough of this standoff.

The president's legal response to their charges are very clear, concise and frankly what any right thinking and educated person would expect. Are they now backtracking?

What did they mean by raising placards in parliament accusing the president of "stealing" the elections if that was not to say that he was not legitimate? Where has this guy been since the NPP was boycotting 'everything presidential' What was that supposed to mean if not refusing to accept his legitimacy? I hope this report is wrong because if it is true, then the NPP and its leadership has done a great disservice to our very democracy, the rule of law and the electoral system which the country has worked so hard to get to this high standard! What the country needs are credible, honest, truthful and patriotic people and groups to move it forward. The New "Patriotic" Party has done anything but be patriotic and this is very disappointing for Ghana.

So, what at all do they want at the Supreme Court? The NPP is behaving like a temper-tantrum child who does not know exactly what he wants.

If they fail to perform their parliamentary duties, they will be fired.The case at court has nothing to do with their useless decision not to work. Let justice take its course at the Supreme Court. All we can do is pay attention and assess the outcome of the case based on evidence.The judges are also accountable to the people.
