  Fiscal discipline and prudence must be maintained.
  
  The budget deficit must be reduced to prudent levels so as to keep inflation under control.
  
  The tax net must be widened to rope in the private sector, and rationalisation of the tax system must continue apace.
  
  We must continue to address the shameful schools under trees phenomenon, and rehabiltate our railway system to improve transportation.
