Half kudos to our doctors. Hope they find the cause(s) and learn from them so they can save many lives.... After they find the cause, they will get the half kudos from me. Nothing against them.

Maybe they were busy strategising on their next ransom of the general public by way of another heartless and immoral strike that they didn't care much about what they were doing.

It's not funny...very pathetic....from the pictures posted alone I saw some flaws that was screaming of lawsuit had it been in the United States:
1. I saw a doctor literally holding the actual life support piece that is supposed to go into the nose by way of a tube...how can the baby/babies maintain their breathing under such conditions...as the human would quickly get tired under in what was an 11 hour surgery.

2. In the above picture posted of a different surgery, I see one doctor with his or her hand on the waist, another with his hands tied to the back, and the third one sitting, again holding the life support kit, had one of his chalewatey/kluggs off his feet as he looked tired and his sitting posture alone is indicative of a market woman...

This is not to belittle or be insensitive towards Ghanaian doctors embarking on such a significant operation giving their limited resources, but to demonstrate my protest and displeasure of how these Ghanaian doctors are quick to abandon patients in critical and life threatening conditions yet they can't even do their jobs right, let alone save a life...

First, contrary to the bashing of these gallant doctors, I commend them for taking on the task and the risks to set the pace for these types of difficult interventions in Ghana. The outcome has been negative and it is unfortunate but it also presents the opportunity to investigate what went wrong for future correction. There is a lesson to learn here and to be documented for improvement. I encourage the doctors not to let this outcome discourage from any future attempt but to champion the cause to obtain the necessary equipment and maybe, missing training to succeed next time.

For all those who have insulted the doctors, had they succeeded, it would have been a valuable contribution to the practice of medicine in Ghana but who says reasoning and reason count these days in the country? Just look around!

Though doctors rule out the surgery as the cause of death, they are still baffled at what could have caused the condition of the babies to deteriorate so quickly.

Such complex surgery should be done by German doctors not Ghanaian doctors who don't care about anything. They don't even have the tools. The only experienced heart surgeon, Frimpong, has already been disgraced.

Please even from the look at the picture of the surgery room, i figure out that something is seriously wrong with Ghana. i have lost 7 relatives suddenly, since 2012, who were under the care of some ghanaian doctor. they have been misdiagnosed, not well informed of their diagnosis,wrong medication prescribed and wrong autopsy report. how much more can our dear ones endure. Ghana is in need of well train doctors.God bless Ghana
