  Are they really Togolese nationals? There are a lot of Ewe-speaking people who have built illegal structures dotted along the shores of the Weija Dam doing fishing for living. It is rumoured around these area that the fishermen around the lake use dead bodies for bumper catches of the lake's tilapia as it is asserted that the decomposed deadbodies form good meal for the fishes. This adds up to the 'juju' aspect of helping them get good catch by appeasing the god or goddess of the lake.
