  How dare they beat someone's child. For this reason, their children will be subject to the same brutalization and the officers will know no peace. I recall my former headmaster slapping one of our mates and the student reported the incident to his Uncle. The Headmaster was taken to court, but nothing was done. Guess what happened to him, he (the headmaster) died such a mysterious death just after we graduated. Officer's we all know what you are capable of, please do not do anything that will make you children fatherless, or keep your unborn children in your groins and take them to your grave :(

  Police and law enforcement agencies should direct their agression to the armed robbers and not innocent school children. They should also go after the chinese galamsey operators who have bribed their way into destroying our forests, polluting our rivers, and disresppecting our locals in thier villages. You cannot go to China or The UK, Pakistan or India and engage in such activities. You will be lynched. This also goes to all foreigners engaged in this dubious galamsey activities. The police ought to go after these thugs as well as the chiefs who empower them. Or else "we the people" will have no other choice than to start protesting in masses against these attrocities in our country !!!!
  Save our Rivers and Forests and Leave Our Schoolboys Alone!!!!

  I might attribute the first beating to a confrontation, perhaps started by the kid. For another officer to step in and deliver another slap to the same boy, suggests that this second office had been briefed of the prior encounter.
  
  This reporting, obviously in not complete. It is hard to make a sound judgment based on just this.

  Whatever the student did, the last Police Officer has no right to slap the boy after the teacher had brought him before another officer. This is complete assault by the slapp-hungry police officer. It was in the zombie era that police used to do that but not this time. The boy should make a formal complain and see a medical officer for a examination and subsequent report then sue that ignorant policeman.

  Backward populace has it's backward and illiterate police. How can police slap a citizen who is not violent in 2013, after so many years UNO membership! That's why so many Ghanaians living in countries with civilized populations and well trained state officials who are not corrupt are reluctant to go back home under the present circumstances. I for one am sure I couldn't survive one year in Ghana. A sad realisation for a Ghanaian with fond memories of home. But who wants to return to a hopeless, failed state?
