Does this Mahama think before he talks by saying "Governance is a shared responsibility which every citizen needs to contribute his or her quota". Your Finance Minister - Tekper said of increasing and widening the Tax base which may be good idea for short time and yet you the President take home your Salary and Emoluments without a fraction going to the State Coffers and you are spewing this crap as governance is a shared responsibility. Tell us a sitting President elsewhere who do not pay taxes to what he earns?

You have to lead by example and not taxing the poor to pay yourself and government employees. Tax payers money are meant for developments to improve their leaving condition by providing the necessary basic amenities.

Uruguay President who makes about $12,000.00 a month takes not more than $1,500.00 of that money and donate the rest to charity. This is a President who loves his country and will do everything to uplift the moral and spirit of the poor in their midst and not this Ali Baba form of government we are witnessing. Mr. Mahama pay your fair share of taxes and file it for the public to know your tax obligation as your Finance Minister - Terpker is touting to establish that all income earners and business owners may in future file their taxes as it is done in most countries.
