By the way if dog eating was that bad, it wouldn't be a national delicacy and a constant feature of the diet of Koreans who breed dogs for their meat just as we breed chickens in Ghana. Why don't you learn to respect people's choices and traditions? You go to south Korea and call someone a dog eater and see what will happen to you. Ignorant fool.

The police, the soldiers,the prison,fire service and a host of other state institutions are there for that. These zombie we clothe and shelter them so get them on the ground. Ministers and dignitries were seated under sheds and these children were marching under the scorching sun for free ,but the corrupt ministers would take their T&T alright.

The ministers, government officials, police, army, and private groups can go and march, but the children should stay at home. The children of the ministers and the rich are in private schools and therefore do not go and march. It is inhumane to subject these poor (and sometimes hungry) children to long hours of standing in the sun to salute corrupt and lazy politicians and government officials. These children are not offered drinks during long standing hours and marching routines. During my elementary school days, we were subjected to these punishment on each independence day. I remember waking up early in the morning around 6:00 am to prepare for school and the independence day march. We march about half a mile to the main park and then sadly wait for hours in the sun for the DCE or regional minister who usually arrive very late. They make political speeches and promises which are usually above our understanding. I therefore don't have any good memories of independence day; a day which was supposed to bring happiness to us. Parliament should address this and change the way we use children during the celebration.
