Now Gabby Ochere Darko should know that a former police officer ought not to behave in that partisan manner. What does that tell us about him when he was in active service? What powers of search did he have? He put up this behaviour in Kumasi. If this had been done in any place, he would have been behind bars. In any case, the current Regional Commander has no power of a court to foreclose the case. Otchere darko you are a lawyer and should know this.

i dont think a police officer told daily guide that the police was acting based on an order from above. anyway is kofi jumah above the law or are they telling ghanaians that a different law is practised in kumasi beside the general law being practised all over ghana. if somebody was kidnapped and kept some where against his will, he has no right to report to the police for justice to take place? what surprises me most was the role of a retired deputy commissioner of police opare addo. why should he allow himself to be misled by die hard npp politicians? There are a lot of retired police and military officers who are believed to be sympathetic to the npp and yet nobody heard any of them going the way this disgraceful opare addo went. what motivated him to do that? well i am now attempted to believe a rumor doing the runs before the election that should the npp won the election, he opare addo would have been the minister of interior. what a shame. i am sorry this guy wasted his time as a senior police officer. he did not learn anything sensible as a police officer, else he would not have allowed a troublesome politician like kofi jumah to lead him into a slaughter house today. he has disgraced the noble ghana police service!
