  It is about time Ghanaians realize the deadly effects of imported meats, specifically frozen meats like sausages, bacon, pork, chicken, beefy, etc Why? because we have the tendency to believe that anything imported is far superior to anything locally produced. A visit to any marketplace in Accra, Tamale, Kumasi, Koforidua, Wa, Tefle, Ho will reveal the types of "red" meats imported from China and Europe. The danger with these meats made red with poisinous dyes to emulate freshness has been the source of various ailments in Africa as well many developing societies. Secondly, our people, certainly do not and cannot trace the sources of these meats. We are told the chinese, go about collecting dead farm animals, freeze them and pour dye in them to emulate freshness and ship them to their "friends" in Africa. What a partnership. In return they destroy our forests, pollute our rivers in the name of galamsey. All with the support of our government and chiefs. We have a few greedy traders who who buy these poisonous meat products and in the name of greed sell them to our market women who in turn sell it to unsuspecting citizens who think anything, meats imported is better. As a result whereas 50 years ago, few ghanaians died from heart ailments, now we have several thousands if not millions getting cancer, diabetes and heart ailments from these questionable meat sources. Dont blame the withches, blame the government and the greedy business men and women. The solution is to revive the local and domestic farm animal industry, and ban the importation of these so called exotic meat killers form Ghana.

  all this meat killed out in open like caveman times in ghana will kill you with bacteria!..Processing plants in usa operate as very low temperatures so meat don't spoil..Then its transported to store frozen!
