This has nothing to do with NPP. Its a corrupt inefficient system. And as long as we keep praising thiefs as success stories instead of jailing them and confiscating their stolen assets things like these will continue and the ordinary Ghanaian will suffer whether Ashanti or Northner.
When a man works and gets paid lets say 5million cedis and yet acquires 2 houses and 5 cars withing 3 years, no one needs to realize that the sudden acuired wealth is pure theft.
We need to stop hailing thiefs as success stories in Ghana and call them what they are, thiefs! Plain and simple.

Shame on VRA! What has it been doing all these years to advice the various administrations how important it is for the them to invest in the energy of the country. Shame on them! They take expensive trips abroad with the wives and children instead of working hard and coming up with a plan that would have helped to improve and expand the Akosombo Dam all these years.

I think VRA is not fair with Government in that if in the last quarter to the end of the year if government could provide 5 out of the 6 loads required for use and is also providing 3 out of the 6 required for the next quarter to the best of my knowledge government did well. In view of the fore going, there is a problem with the VRA which is not what the management wants the people of this country to believe. This is clear inefficiency on the part of the management. There is no need for any higher adjustment of the tariff. The financial leakages at the VRA should be looked into and if there is the need for management shake up it should be done immediately to avoid plunging the country into further crisis which some of us suspect some political under hand dealings.
