The Conjoined Twins And Mighty 'Men Of God’
.......................................

When I heard of the conjoined twins at Komfo Anokye hospital I wished this was in the time of Jesus. Peter and Mark would rush to the great teacher and miracle worker screaming “Rabbi, Rabbi, you have to come quick, there are conjoined twins that need to be separated.” Jesus would rush to the home of the twins. The distraught mother of the twins would prostrate herself at the master’s feet crying uncontrollably. Jesus would walk to the bed and lay his hands on the babies. He would say a short prayer. Right before the eyes of the small crowd that had gathered, the tissues that joined the two babies would be heard separating. Not before long, it was done! The babies would be separated! The crowd would wonder and marvel and go away praising God.

Unfortunately, this is not the first century. Dr. Boateng Nimako and his team tried their very best at komfo Anokye, but the babies did not survive, probably because we do not have the medical equipment to keep them alive. Collectively, our heart is broken as a nation. Psychologically, we are defeated. We wanted to tell the world that our doctors are capable, that we have arrived, that we are not some banana republic. We wanted to celebrate with the parents and family of the babies. After the Black Stars painful elimination, this would have been a soothing balm to our bruised soul.

As a Christian, several questions come to my mind. Ghana has more prophets and pastors with big titles than any nation in the world, next to Nigeria. How come no prophet came forward to perform a miracle to separate the babies? My pastor says if you believe, you can perform miracles, just like Jesus did. Anytime there is a serious medical emergency like this one, our miracle-working pastors are nowhere to be found. Their best excuse is to ask us to pray for the doctors. They go back to performing their ‘miracles’ after it is all over.

The Yoruba prophet T. B. Joshua is known all over Africa through his Emmanuel TV, for performing “miracles” but when a case like this arises, he is missing in action, he is silent . There is a deafening silence among these prophets and pastors. Are their miracles only on TV? Where is Duncan-Williams and Mensah-Otabil? Where is Rev. Owusu-Bempah? Where are all the men of God?

Jesus performed many miracles. He fed 5,000 people with five loaves of bread. He spoke to a storm to calm down. He walked on water. He put back a soldier’s severed ear. How come no man of God is able to walk on water or calm the seas or put back an ear today? The only miracle these pastors perform is cast out demons. That’s it! They all claim to cast out demons- look for some psychologically disturbed individual and speak in tongues at them, sprinkle holy water on them and voila! You are a great prophet, a wondrous worker of miracles! Is it because this is one miracle everyone can fake? There is also the ubiquitous wheel chair miracle. There is never the healing of someone with withered and twisted legs. Always the person in a wheel chair forced to run across the stage. Can any of these men of God just perform some real miracle for once?

Are there miracles today? It would be great to see a man of God part the Volta into two like Moses did the Red Sea. What about a man of God command fire from heaven like Elijah? A really impressive one would be a man of God making a 90yr old woman have a baby like Abraham’s wife Sarah. God is the same, he does not change, as the Bible says, how come these miracles don’t happen through our so-called prophets today?

We are tired of the healing crusades where all these’ men of God’ do is pretend to cast out demons and make people with normal legs walk. If you note carefully, they never heal the people with twisted, broken legs. They all recycle the same old tired miracle tricks. These are not miracles, these are tricks to take money away from poor and sick people.

Our politicians, NDC or NPP, love these fake miracles because instead of us pressuring them for modern equipment and facilities at hospitals like Korle-Bu and Komfo Anokye, we put our hopes in miracles from the honey-coated lips of ‘men of God’. Instead of questioning the fat salaries of those in parliament, while our hospitals are death traps, we go to church and fast and pray and pay tithes and cower in the self-deluding belief that when there are conjoined twins, we can miraculously separate them in the name of Jesus.

Prophetic war against our mothers, self and integrity is what our leaders need to delve into about destroying ourselves.
Self acclaimed prophets and spiritualist are using the spiritual world to deceive and destroy Ghanaians. The time is ripe for authorities to arrest and detain all those involved in the death of a person, accused of being a witch.
If Ghanaians will agree with me, I sensed an influx of foreigners in Ghana using various means to deprive us of our citizenship by aiding and abating the killing of our mothers.
By doing so, our sense of family is killed and the sense of self actualization without a family tree is initiated.
I can promise you, almost all our mothers in Ghana are deemed witches and are tagged by these prophets. Who use various means to destroy the very same women they have collected money from. Just tell a white person or African American, his/her unproductive life is the cause of her/his mother; are you kidding me? how!
If all our mothers are witches and I am yet to be a mother, where lies my future faith, a witch. Come on Ghanaians, not only did God gave us power but common sense. Why then do we sit and allow these illiterate prophets to manipulate our minds.
Remember, you are shaped by your believes and whatever gets to your mind on daily basis determine your output and progress in life.
If you will allow someone to poison your brains, with witch craft, you will grow up to be one. Why don't we disassociate from all these mother fucking self acclaimed prophets killing our mothers, integrity and our God giving common sense.
I am proud to be a Ghanaian but sometimes I feel sad to be African. Just because we easily act on impulse. We hardly research into ourselves let alone our surroundings to determine the actual or root cause of our problems. As African, I beg to differ our intelligence is limited by our language. Most of our dialect have few vocabularies, that said we use fewer words than the average European.
Perfect example is the use of Akan Language, where most Ghanaians hardly express themselves but insults to justify a cause.
Life is not rosy for the average person, its suppose to be a roller coaster. With both good and bad times. Its time we admit our short comings and strategize to shy away from our mistake than to assert blame on our rather unfortunate mothers.
My mother prayed for me to be somebody when she was strong and capable of helping me to be on my feet. Now that I can stand, walk and run my life and mother is helpless. I could not reward her for all the sacrifices she made for me but to call and abuse her as a witch. Are Ghanaians serious, maybe majority of us are uneducated or just fools, living in the get rich quick foolish paradise.
Aiding and abating a crime in Ghana is punishable by law. So why are these prophets after causing the death of a witch living free from jail. Ghana laws must change for the better. Protecting life of average Ghanaian from such abuse and unnecessary death should be the mantra of every administration. But the way Ghanaians die, I wonder if the leaders care about their citizens. Simple laws can avert many deadly car accidents, but where are the laws. Do we have lawmakers in Ghana or stomach builders, GHANA AT 56!!!

Then why cant we as africans develop ur languages? Have u heard of lanuage development. the chinese developed their language, the arabs did it every nation does . And please dont tell me that we must speak englsh to express ur views. Ask the linguist (Okyeame) if he can only insult in the Akan language. The akan language and other african languages have been neglected by their own speakers who speak it. Why do we always have to mix brofo with twi? why cant we twilise the english words as the english do it with the french words. Or why cant we use the twi words we already have in the twi language? For example the word the twi equivalent for hospital is ayarisabea but we dont use ayarisabea but hospital. I hope u understand me.In my opinion language development is needed in africa because the majorty of Africans cant read and write in their own languages. The use of african languages as official/national language has many advantages: Do u know that people can then be taught at schools , could write books in their own languages, could make films etc. Many would know say that English is international but how many countries have switched their language to the english language? As for the akan language i see a lot of potential in it. a lot of words can be invented. we africans only have to use our mind. please dont take it personal. Its just my piont of view.

That said, if back in the days an expression could not be coded, it was then abolish. That alone and in it's sense, denied the black man an opportunity to solidly argue a case against their theft.
If the harm is not done and I beg to differ again, the dot com world has globalized us. Reinventing or reinforcing our language in the international stage would be added to the English language.
I can bet you Azonto has find it's way into the Webster's dictionary as an expressive dance originated from Ghana and that's how smart oyibo has become. There is no such thing as yenko nkoa but yenko nbom.
Remember akan language can easily be inserted into the English language bearing the fact, our consonants and vowels are almost the same. Just that they have more consonants than we do and that's our limitation. In order for us to create more vocabularies we need to create more consonants and I am afraid how we will translate Z X J IN OUR DIALECT. Unless we boldly come out with new symbols and letters codified by our tone.

And when you consult a Fetish or Spiritual Herbalist to confirm whether someone suspected of being a witch or not, you are in for deception. It is not all about the manifestation, by way of the individual(actually a demon) confessing, but being able to set the individual free. A Fetish cannot set people free. Satan always tries to counterfeits the work of God

The Church has or is supposed to have the solution to this problem, or we may end up confusing and disuniting families. When you ignorantly accuse someone as being a witch, it is very serious in the eyes of God.

My people are perishing because of lack of knowledge, says the Lord. Also, the thief(Satan) came, but to steal, kill and destroy.

Someone may be accused of being a witch because of her weakness and therefore vulnerable. She may even confess to be a witch, whereas, in the actual sense, or understanding of the word, she is not. This is often due to the way she has grown up, with the understanding of how an accused witch manifest when made to visit a Fetish priest(ess).

In the truthful sense of the word, the Fetish priest(ess) is the one who is engaged in witchcraft. Any spiritual exercise that is not of Christ is not of God. Fetishism is a willful disobedience against God, which is witchcraft. In our society, we have thought of the Fetish as those doing good and able to set the so called witches free. Remember, it is only the Son of God who can set one free, in the real sense of the word. God has given the church the mandate to do this. Yet not all church denominations(especially our traditional churches) engage in this warfare. And, even with a number of living churches, not all dare to engage the enemy because of fear.

God has, however, not given us a spirit of fear, but love, sound mind and power.

Demonic manifestation occurs when a demon is exposed and provoked to come out from an individual, under the power of the Holy Ghost.

Many Christians are of the thinking that they cannot manifest. After all, who would like to be identified as being in partnership with the enemy.

However, perpetual sins open doors for demons. Also, idols once worshiped by forefathers and their proximity to the family line as well as words spoken on alters of shrine MAY give the enemy a legal right to influence the family.

Everyone is vunerable, for we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities in the heavenlies(part of heaven very close to the earth, not the real heaven from which satan has been cast out).

A Christian who thinks may not manifest is like the one who claims his hall is always clean, until one day he discovers that mice have been destroying his speakers, hitherto, unknown to him.

When the mouse is exposed, it will enter a confrontation with you until you fearlessly get rid of it.

You see, you did not entertain that mouse in your hall, but somehow it managed to inflict or damage a few things that belonged to you, until it was exposed. That is how demons operate. There could be cockroaches, ants etc. in addition to the mice.

Therefore, when a person manifests, the person is not necessarily a witch.
The person is rather a victim, and when the demon is cast out, he or she is free in Jesus name.

The individual has to maintain his deliverance through his or her walk with the Lord. Whatever God gives us must be guarded, because Satan(demons)always come at opportune times.

Sometimes, the face of an innocent family member can be used to perpetrate evil(hunt someone, as in dreams)

It is often an idol (demon) once worshiped in the family line, which has an influence in the family.

Here, also it is not about the vulnerable individual you saw in the dream. It is about the spirit behind the whole scheme. You are mandated to fast and pray for the person to be disconnected from the enemy.

You can even encourage the individual to fast and pray with you. You could present general prayer points, and then in praying for yourselves you could hint and pray against this specific one without necessarily making reference to the dream.
We are to do all things in love and wisdom.

And you yourself you can develop your prayer life in such a way that Satan cannot use your face to perpetrate evil. When going to bed, pray, with Faith that you be shielded from the enemy by the power of the blood of Jesus Christ. Guard yourself against loose talks and gossiping, but rather utter words that will minister grace to you and the hearers.

Govern your life with prayers, and witness to others about Christ. When you do all these, your spirit will resist things through which the enemy will like to partner with you.

People engaged in Fetish should understand that they can be sent free by the Lord. Often they are afraid to come out from that darkness. However, 50% of their deliverance depends on them. If they hear the Gospel and their heart is convicted by the power of the Holy Ghost, then they have to make the necessary steps by confessing Christ, and the Church should be able to help them through steadfast study of the WORD and prayers, even as the new convert continues to renounce his or her connections of the past.
