The Akosombo Dam was at its best, Ghana was ending exporting power all across the west coast, from ivory coast all the way to Nigeria. Even to Bukina Faso than called the Upper Volta. This powe problem began when Gahna stopped supplying more power to Bukinfaso during Rawlings Era, this gave the people of upper volta the idea to hired a Company from France to build a Dam on the meeting point of the Black and white volta in their country to stop the inflow of water into the volta lake. So what are you talking about.
  You need to get your facts build up before you come out with them. Tell no lie. This is not tge time to say any thing ignorantly, for it is a serious affairs.
  Dr. KA. Bussia, was able to lie more pipe lines in the Brong Ahafo region, to even supply more rural areas the with pipe bone water, so wathe are you saying. IK Achampong was ablie to build some 2 more addition dams in accra, so what are you saying. Even there wasva dam beeing built in the Brong Ahafo regio that has uptill now been left unattended so what do you mean.

We had the VC 10s about three of them, we advanced to the DC 9 and 10, plus the Forkers even our nation Airforce had its Mackey fighter jets a lot of them, we had our Hillecopeters and fire service trucks, Ghna was caperble, better in the 60s down to late 80s

  The truth of the matter is that we don't produce enough power,we are consumming more than we produce.It's a fact that,tarrif increase cannot solve the problem,except VRA wants to cut down their clients.If you calculate the power out put from Akosombo Dam,Aboadze Termal Plant and some Generators in the country compared to the needs of the population,you will see that there is a constant shortage of power.The best we can do right now is to hurry up and complet the Bui Dam and the Gas Processing Plant which could increase the out put of power supply.All this akurasi politics about NDC/NPP will not solve the problem.We must put pressure on the Chinese Power Construction companies to meet the scheduled dead line.Thank you.
