Boateng, mission hospitals also need money to provide medications, other consumables, utilities, etc that keep the hospitals running. Even if the workers are willing to work without pay, you do not expect them to borrow money ...

Boateng, mission hospitals also need money to provide medications, other consumables, utilities, etc that keep the hospitals running. Even if the workers are willing to work without pay, you do not expect them to borrow money to do the hospital laundry, keep the environment tidy, etc. If you could organize to get some supplies to them, I believe they'll continue to provide the needed services.

The one time insurance payment can just not work. There should be co payments so the hospital can operate. If not, the scheme will just die. Mills and Mahama knew this but for campaign's sake promised the impossible.

The NHIS and gov't needs to pay beofre they collapse the good work they are doing. There are more missionary hospitals than gov't hospitals in Ghana. Pls don't comment if you think 3rooms health centre is a hospital - it bloody isn't. I am talking of hospital. If you don't know the difference between hospital and health centre, ask your nurse or doctor.

I will plead with all mission hospitals in Ghana to look at the poor patient and at least attend to them. They may be given prescriptions for their medications. Do not spoil your excellent record achieved over the years by following those incompetent politicians running the NHIS. May God continue to bless you for your devotion to duty.

We have written many times that the churches sell those services to us or we buy those services at a cost. This is an example.

Just as Scripture informs us that no-one can call Jesus LORD unless directed by the Holy Spirit (of God), here is an example of someone whose ideas about God are a real anathema. If God is "foreign", then why does anyone worship Him? I think there is confusion in the minds of some people regarding the role of Churches in social development. Churches heed the call of the LORD Jesus Christ: "when I was sick you did visited me (Matthew 25:39-40) by setting up hospitals and health clinics to heal the sick as well as preach the Gospel of the LORD Jesus Christ. Much like the work of NGOs of civil societies, governments are also enjoined to do their fair share in the delivery of health care to Ghanaians. If the government has neglected to do their lawful duty in health care; but find millions of cedis to run political campaigns, then what is the use of govts anyway? Remember "idey bii keke?" Sounds like a slogan with very selfish and greedy connotations if you consider how much cedis were wasted in the last elections) while at the same time health care services and other vital utility services are under funded by the Mahama government. The Mahama govt cannot even pay doctors well until they have to go on strike at least twice in recent years! Recent media reports show that Govt owes the VRA millions of cedis (think you would have electrical power in your household if you didn't pay your electricity bills?), as well as the Water Company.. yet the govt somehow found money to do the "Idey bii keke campaign. What is happening to Ghana?

The true God is not foreign. If you are a true believer, you know that God is an ever present help (Psalm 46:1) and indeed the Sovereign Creator of everything that exists! (John 1:10; COLOSSIANS 1:16) Amen.
