But why do you blame all the thieves who keeps stealing in the name of govt? After all monkey Ghanaians and i mean all of them hail every Kadamn thief as a success story. And as long as we keep praising them instead of imprisoning them and seizing their stolen assets this SHIT will continue till the end of time.

And i mean a man gets into govt, gets say 5 million cedis a month as salary, in a matter of 3 years he acquires 3 houses, 5 cars, and a host of other properties, shipped their kids abroad and pay their foreign tuition cash.

I mean do u need to be an Einstein to realize this is pure theft and loot of the State? Yet foolish Ghanaians hail them as success stories instead of calling them what they are...THIEVES.

Most ppl are thieves in Ghana and the politicians are worse thieves, all of them in both the NPP and DNC deserves a long jail sentence.

If you GO in there and you SEE what is going on, if you try to do something about it they will do WHATEVER it takes, and I mean WHATEVER, to kick you out.

They will USE the Press, WRITE letters to the CASTLE and TRUMP UP all manner of charges against you.

If what you find involves the MORE POWERFUL, they will even use the SERIOUS FRAUD Office to 'Investigate' you for no reason. That should keep you occupied and give you 'SOMETHING' to worry about.

WHEN I JOINED THE BOARD IN JANUARY 1961, MR. MAURICE CURTIS OF THE CURTIS-GRENSTEAD ASSOCIATES OF HIGH HOLBORN, LONDON, WAS THE MANAGING DIRECTOR OF THE GH.TOURIST BOARD.
MR. ISAAC EPSOM, AN ARCHAEOLOGIST & A LAWYER TOOK OVER IN 1962.
AFTER THE OVERTHROW OF NKRUMAH'S GOV'T IN 1966 THE BOARD WAS RE-ORGANISED AND A GNA GENERAL MANAGER, MR.G.T.ANIM WAS APPOINTED AS A GENERAL MANAGER BY MESSRS E.K.O. AWUKU AND E.O. BARTEMEUS
WHEN GEN. KUTU-ACHEAMPONG TOOK OVER POWER IN 1972 HE APPOINTED MAJOR ANNOR ODJIJAH AS THE NEW MANAGING DIRECTOR OF THE GH.TOURIST CONTROL BOARD. MR.PAUL ANKRAH OF THE MINISTRY OF TRADE AND TOURISM TOOK OVER FROM ODJIJAH IN 1974 AND DR. ADJEI-BARWUAH TOOK OVER IN 1975 UNTIL 1983 WHEN JERRY JOHN RAWLINGS PUT IN AN INTERIM MANAGEMENT C'TEE.
THE BOARD FROM THE TIME OF MR.G.T.ANIM STEERED AWAY FROM POLITICAL INTERFERENCE as much as possible UNTIL JERRY RAWLINGS TOOK OVER POWER. PROBE AFTER PROBE DID NOT FIND THE BOARD OF ANY MAJOR WRONG DOING.
I LEFT THE BOARD IN MARCH 1962 AND RE-JOINED IT IN MARCH 1975. I TOOK AN EARLY RETIREMENT IN 1988 BY WHICH TIME WE HAD LAID A GOOD FOUNDATION FOR THE ATTAINMENT OF AN 'AUTHORITY' AND TOURISM AT THAT TIME WAS THE THIRD LARGEST FOREIGN EXCHANGE EARNER AFTER COCOA AND GOLD. PRIVATE HOTELS PROVIDED BEST FACILITIES, ATTRACTIONS WELL DEMARCATED AND GROUP AIR CHARTERS OFFERED.
THERE ARE SEVERAL COLLEAGUES WHO HAVE BEEN FORCED INTO RETIREMENT BECAUSE THEY SERVED UNDER ANOTHER GOV'T; I HOPE AND PRAY THAT SOME OF THOSE COULD BE RECALLED TO ASSIST THE RELATIVELY YOUNG BREED TO PICK UP THE PIECES AND STEER AWAY FROM POLITICAL INTERFERENCE WHICH HAS TAINTED EVERY ENDEAVOUR.

They insist on people paying cash not even cheque. How can these people say there are banks collecting the money when we have never been told that. The corruption is everywhere because we respect corrupt people. Do you know why I say so? Because when these people from the GTA who we know are paid less than ghc1000.00 a month start building mansions worth ghc500,000 we have people praising them. They say their job is good. Even our young graduates start pushing to get in there, not to do a good job but to also loot. So you see, we love the corrupt ones.

We need to add innovation and diversify our tourism that's prototype of "london eye" in regional capitals,cruising boats and ferries,village and beach camping,bus tours,mountain climbings tours,having a place semilar to "madam tuasard"in london to house past and present famous kings and leaders .now how do we finance all these projects in place?look for sponsors like mining companies ,banks,guiness ghana ltd,ABC, airlines ,organise events to raise funds.

Please go back to memory and investigate the life style of these leaders, you would be shock when you get to know how affluent and profligate spending that they indulged in. Why is it that two ex ministers and many yet to come out complaining about corruption now?. why not before their tenure of office? It seems we are living in animals' farm where some think ,they superior to other. As such, manipulation and deceit becomes their hallmark. As greedy as they are they will try every means to squeeze the little drop of amount left in the office for their own interest. What happened ? while life is unbearable, arrears of 4 years totaling GHS201600.00 were given to few individual whilst masses bear the hardship.
