The NDC would have to explain to Ghanaians how a dead man came to author and sign a letter!

The opening paragraph states, “I came to serve; I have finished my time here on earth and have moved on to everlasting rest and celestial duties with my heavenly father.”

The immediate question is; how did the dead man come to sign his own personal tribute, since he is already in heaven?

The letter then goes on melodramatically, “As you leaf through these pages of my life’s story, I pray to God that it touches your heart in many positive ways. Weep not, I am not dead. This is the best decision I have so far seen in President Mahama. After he has initially made his appointments for the regions, the President would have been a big fool and idiot if he failed to change his mind when issues on the ground effecting his initial decision have changed. Remember that the world is dynamic and he who does not change according to the times is a big fool indeed. Kudos to the President; he has rather shown that he is on top and very current with the people he is leading. I will end by quoting the Ghanaian popular saying "Eshei bo" to wit "skin pain" people.

i watch what is going on in the forum and very few have any faith in a better tomorrow, evidently there is an atmosphere and climate of doom in the air , its ok for pepeni to appoint his herdsmen to dominate and now to ensure the various tribes can not secure their voice through one of their own with this regional minister reshuffle. even the colonialists had better sense.times are changing and it can take less than a fortnight to destabilize or cause the disintergration of a country. history has taught us it was because of nepotism and incompetence that many countries and societies have fallen apart. its only a matter of time when the various tribes will secretly start consolidating their ranks and retaliate as those who dont will see they were very naive and foolish as their own people will suffer for their non action. dont think even trillions can save the country now if these devisive tendencies continue. God helps those who help themselves first , putting one's head in the hole like an ostrich doesnt make the problem go away , rather the people should be made aware or enlightened to the consequences and be prepared for any outcome. what a tragedy , long live the Republic of Akan

There used to be a time when Ghana had a creed "one nation, one people, one destiny". That was when Gen Acheampong was head of state. People were given appointments not based on where they came from. Eastern Region was at one time headed by Col Minyilla, who was from Northern Region. In a reshuffle he was moved to the Volta Regio. There was a Coker-Appiah who moved from Accra to Bono Ahafo Region, etc., etc. They PNDC came and created the awareness that everyone came from a particular place in Ghana. Ethnicity was elevated to a national religion. It is good Mahama has realized that Acheampong also had some good policies. I'm surprised Mahama realized this only less than 2 weeks ago. When students were being selected for government scholarships, one's place of origin was found very significant by Mahama. He had forgotten that doctors in Ghana were not necessarily working in the hometowns or even regions. Until we place competence first, Ghana will continue to under-utlize her vast human and material resources. Better late than never.
