  Indeed, it sounds nice to hear but to me it is just paper talk because young guys like me put in all what was needed to benefit from this facility to expand our business only for us to face one obstacle to another obstacle to access the funds. we had no choice to go the other harder ways which impede rapid growth.
  The earlier we stopped saying these things the better. It should be the beneficiaries that should blow the trumpet and not the various govenrments or nations representatives because it becomes paper talk for just 'face polishing'.
  We need actions and not talks.

  Italy is broke, how can they afford 20 milion Euros to a foreign country when their own people are dying of starvation and homelessness? This is where you need smart public officials to analyse things like this.

  I agree exactly. This country is near default on its own credit, and they decide to "give" their spare change in development aid to a nation that has no natural relations to it.

  As usual, neither our lazy and incompetent President nor his governmemt can provide the leadership to devise a proper and effective taxation system in this country, so that we can rely on our own revenue from taxation to implement vital projects, instead of relying on crumbs from table of foreign donor nations.
  
  After 56 years of nationhood its about time our leaders stopped embarrassing us citizens and acted with the maturity that our many years of sovereignty bestows upon us.

  Most developed countries that produce machinery, support developing countries that DON'T produce machinery with facilities like the GPSDF. The interest rate is less than half of whats charged by Ghanaian banks. A lot of counties have EXIM banks, like USA,CHINA and INDIA. So as far as you are not even making toothpick in Ghana, expect to get it from somewhere.If all developed countries gave us a facility like this, we will be on a path to industrialisation and independence.

  Remember: Europeans only offer subsidies ("cash") when the deal benefits them exclusively.
