When Kwaku Baako informed us about the atrocities of Kwesi Pratt during PNDC Regime, some of us did not believe until the truth was confirmed during the NRC. Kwesi Pratt is the most dangerous Journalist Ghana had ever have, he had the gut to recommend his fellow journalists to be executed by PNDC. Pratt even recommended Baako to be killed by the regime, thank God Baako was instead touchered violently and severely but his life was spared. This is what Kwesi Pratt can do. Now Pratt is a secret agent to NDC and US Embassy in Ghana. May God forgive Pratt and spare him the untold evils that will come upon him and his generations. The souls of those journalist killed through Pratt's recommendations to PNDC will never forgive Pratt. Now Pratt has the guts to take Diplomatic Passport and smuggled his weak-headed children to work at the Ministries under Mills NDC, may God forgive Pratt and his dependance and spare them of the evils ahead of them.

Dr. Gyan Said that the EC’s main challenge in the last election was its temporary staff, some of whom had very “strong political affiliations.”

He however assured that the Commission was taking steps to address those challenges after the harm had been done. If NPP had not gone to court, he wouldn't have admitted that there were people both permanent and temporary staff in the EC with strong party affiliations

We believe that the EC has admitted its guilt, but cunningly trying in vain to shift the blame to temporary staff. Dr. Gyan and EC are responsible for delivering clean, free and fair elections devoid of irregularities that could affect the outcome of the elections, and distort the will of the people.

Ghanaians did not hire Gyan and the EC to sit in their air-conditioned offices only to shift blames to other. The EC and Gyan are responsible for any mistake or crime that occurred in the process.

Prez Mahama has not started well but he is the Prez we chose, have and must live with. He has less than four years to go now so lets be patient and fix the problems we encountered and the next elections will be better. going through the supreme court to become president is not good, it will throw our country into chaos and is that what the NPP wants?
Nana Akuffo Addo my advise to you is that as Nigerians say.."even if ill fate befalls you, it is the will of GOD". If God God wants you to be President, you will be if not today tomorrow. The election and its aftermath was peaceful because the voters made it so, not the Chairman of the EC. How can an election be successful when strong evidence is being presented to show that the result he declared was, at the very least, dubious. The response from the opposition has not been quiet grumbling in drinking bars but a full blown, constitutional petition to the Supreme Court. If he rates the December election successful, he is not fit to be to be in his post. He must be dismissed immediately.

He should name the countries who approached the EC for and let see if all of them may not be African countries who themselves are interested in copying Afari Gyan's fraudulent manipulation of the electoral process.

This 2012 was the most rigged elections in the history of Ghana. If biometric voting was good every country would have been using it by now.
Our elections is not for experimenting on biometrics as you all know they can fail at will.
The elections was rigged by EC because they didnt know to work the biometric and put any number of voters to coverup their mistakes.

The topic was:

'The 'hen' and the 'egg', which is older or which comes first or which is more powerful'.

One gentleman said the 'hen', because it was the'hen', which lays the 'egg', meaning the 'egg' came out of the 'hen'.

The other gentleman also said , No, it is the 'egg', because the 'hen' came out of the 'egg', that is, the 'hen' was hatched from the 'egg'.

The argument became so furious that they came to me to arbitrate.

I considered the 'pros' and the 'cons' of each argument and came to this conclusion;

I asked them.

"Who created the world?"

They answered in unison; "God, the Almighty"?

I asked, "who created Adam and Eve"?

They answered again ," God."

I then answered:

"..God did not create the World. God created Man, and took one of the rips from the man and created the woman."

I continued:

"The rest of the World came through Gods commands; "Let it be, and It became."

"Almighty Power, come down now, oh oh Lord, come down now!"

I then said, the 'hen' also came out of this command, The Power, and after the 'hen' had come, the 'egg' was laid.

The 'hen', is therefore, older than the 'egg'. The 'hen' is more powerful than the 'egg'.

The furious anger was abated. They were satisfied and wen to bed in my brain.

Then, immediately they left, my brain began to think of this topic;

The Chairman of the Electoral Commission(in a less developed country like Ghana) and The President, who is more powerful?

The President or The Commissioner?

I concluded myself without any debate or argument, because, these two gentlemen in my brain were asleep!

It is the Electoral Commissioner or The Chairman of the Electoral Commission.
He can make and unmake Presidents, by manipulating election votes and figures.

Now seriously who permitted Dr. Afari Gyan to give this lecture?

Is this not a Conflict of Interest?

Is he not praising himself for a good work done?

IS HE NOT INFLUENCING IN ONE WAY OR THE OTHER, THE PETITION AT THE SUPREME COURT?

There is no such thing like employing honest people , The solution to our problem is below. 1 The Biometric verification machine should be upgraded. to indicate all the information same as the ballot paper 2. People should vote directly on the machine by placing thier thumb on the the picture of the person they vote for. 3. At the end of the voting the machine should print a slip , like receipt of results for representatives to sign off 4. Machines are sent to Collation center and signed slips are collated. 5. Machines are flown directly to the National coalation centre 6. Each machine is plugged in and results directly downloaded on to the National Tally 7. direct feeds of the server should be given to TV stations for broadcast and feeds also given to the Election headquarters of the various parties or candidates. 8. 48 hours given for any challenges to be resolved 9. Final results is then declared. 10. note serial numbers and seals and additional software security should be built into the system 11. A mock election should be run 2 years before the actual election to identify problems. 12. the above will improve the system as well as eliminate the spoily ballot syndrome 13. rlg in conjunction with samsung or apple could develop or upgrade existing terminals

The biometric verification that was used in the just ended elections was a novel idea championed by the NPP and all well meaning Ghanaians, at a time the NDC gov't was vehemently opposed to it's implementation. The process sought to eliminate to the barest minimum the issue of an overbloated register which hitherto had been the modus operandi of the NDC party to steal elections without any accountability. However, this exercise has actually created the situation where the trail of non eligible voters who in times past, voted albeit fraudulently, to be curtailed, with the result that, the measures that were put in place has now created a perfect scenario of the how, where, and what was done fraudulently to secure President Mahama the victory. It is for this very reason that, the NPP is challenging the legitimacy of the results that were declared in the just ended elections. So we must commend ourselves that we opted for this exercise and now, we have a sure fire way of determining the ways and means as well as the hows of the fraudulent trail, that was actually implemented to secure Pres. Mahama the victory. The case is now in the supreme court and we pray that, the law would be made to prevail and right whatever wrongs may have been committed against any of the contestants in the just ended elections.
