  Why the government included the projected Corporation Tax revenue as income in the last year's(2012)budget knowing very well that it was not going to get it because its predecessors had agreed with the oil producing companies ...

  Why the government included the projected Corporation Tax revenue as income in the last year's(2012)budget knowing very well that it was not going to get it because its predecessors had agreed with the oil producing companies to offset the payment against the capital expenditure the incurred, beat the imagination. It had meant that until the cost of the capital spent to produce the oil was paid off, the companies were not going to pay any Corporation Tax to the government. Thus, it will take some time before the country realises the Corporation Tax revenue from them to use in our budgets.
