Please, the so Call Council of PTA should stop the Hippocratic statements. Is this the first time they are hearing the agitations of the GES workers? It is now or never. The Govt should take it.

Couldn't the unions fight, as hard as they can, for the teachers? In the early 1980's, the then general secretary of GNAT, Mr. T.A.Bediako stayed all night with President Limann to insist that the teachers demands were met, after previous meetings had ended in deadlock. During that session, Mr.Bediako pepped up with usual guts asked the president, "Mr. President, do you still see yourself, a teacher?"
That loaded question was more than enough to break the deadlock. Again, what do teachers benefit from paying their dues, if they must cut classes to fight for their legitimate remunerations?

I am from the USA, and I'm sure your children is worth more than this. Why wouldn't you pay your teachers to teach your future. These young people can become the greatest teachers but if they take what they have seen when it comes to the treatment of teachers they might not want to become teachers. You are showing your young people what they can expect from your government in not paying for the cost of their education. Enough is Enough, either you love your future or not enough to pay the teachers to teach. I have a friend there and he's not eating because of your actions. You're hurting your future more than the the teachers not teaching. Get it together GHANA, your children are depending on YOU!!!!!!

these people should appeal to government to cancel PTA dues and we will then see those who will remain voluntarily. Because they condoled to get monies from PTA dues they go out there without our permision
