It is not bad to appoint such a young man like Ato to such a big position as Deputy Fin. Minister. But I understand he worked as a security man in UK and later operated his own security staffing agency there. I hope the verti ...

It is not bad to appoint such a young man like Ato to such a big position as Deputy Fin. Minister. But I understand he worked as a security man in UK and later operated his own security staffing agency there. I hope the verting committee will properly evaluate his qualifications, experience and accomplishments in public finance & economic management. These are very important beacuse the state of Ghana's economy as of now, requires people with very solid background in public finance/ecomomics to manage the ministry of finance. NO POLITICS, PLEASE!!!

haha being a security officer in UK is not bad. I am a cart pusher at Walmart but I am doing my masters degree. Most students here do this kind of small jobs while studing.

After 3 decades Ajumako again was blesssed with NPP'S Mr Edumadze...in his term Ajumako began to receive national attention ....
And in less than decade another new and remarkable miracle..the hand of God... either we accept or not dawn

marvel Honorable Forson ... honored as Ghana's Deputy Finance Minister ..
...and hoping he will deliver deliver and deliver to satisfy national obligations expected of him for his constituency and distressed Ghanaians

KOFI - I think you will also agree with me that Walmat wouldn't coltishly put you in the CFO position when you had no atom of knowlege and experience in financial management..... That is why they employed you as a truck pusher. It wouldn't matter if Ato Forson worked as security guard (not officer)whilst studying for his Bachelor's or Master's. Please, check his current credentials again before you make any assumptions.

BIG JOE: It is instructive to note that managing a whole economy like that of Ghana is far different from the politics of lobbying for classroom blocks, marketplaces, feeder rooads,etc to an MP's constituency. You have totally missed the point. I wouldn't worry if they made him a duputy regional miniter, local government, or any of the non-technical areas rather than a deputy minister of finance at this stage of Ghana's economic turmoil. Look, this has nothing to do with luck, nature, religion, destiny, etc as you are thinking. FUNNY!!! I want to rest my case here but let's revisit it four years hence.Ok?

You sound indifference...and I never even knows MP Forson by face...Your anger reflect self distresss culture of anxiety ...Either MP Forson will deliver or not in his latest position as Ghana's deputy finance minister depend on the progress on the ground and the very attitude and support of the public .And u in Ghana can turn into a watchman to monitor his achievement in the course of his service delivery. And believe me or not as I said before ..what is yours is yours..therefore avert envy and be content with yourself..God has his time of working for every one ..sometimes ryt or evil.

Yet these illiterate NDC supporters go about taunting non existing achievements of Ato Forson and NDC. That is a shame. Ajumako district is still poor from Adumadze to resent time. Useless people in authority; NDC and NPP will collapse the nation pretty soon. The nation is characterized with filth, joblessness, poor health, run-down educational system, looting of our minerals by foreigners and loss of heritage.

It is not bad to appoint such a young man like Ato to such a big position as Deputy Finance Minister. However, I understand he worked as a security man in UK and later operated his own security staffing agency. I hope the verting committee will properly evaluate his qualification, experience and accomplishments in public finance & economic management to ensure he has the appropriate capacity to perform. I don't mean the paper/school certificates he may have, but the tangible/practical knowledge and hands-on skills that would enhance his performance. Can he roll up his sleeves from day one in in office and make practical impact in fixing the looming finance and economic problems confronting the nation now? These points are very important beacuse the state of Ghana's economy now, requires people with very solid background in public finance/ecomomics to manage the ministry of finance. There can't be any room for an intern finance minister. The 2013 budget is a true indication that Seth Terpeh himself is significantly dificient of any effective and effcient solutions for Ghana's current finance and econimic woes. NO POLITICS, PLEASE!!!
