It's not just the judges but doctors in all their fields of speciality, engineers, technicians, teachers, etc. The world of knowledge is changing really fast and it's important we catch up and keep up with the frightening pace for our own good.

Mensah Abrampa how are you? I sometimes wonder if Ghanaian Judges are too keen to award judgement debts payments against the State. I know it is not the duty of a Judge to make a case for the state but for State Attorneys to make the state's case in court. Not withstanding this, it is the responsibility of the Judge to ensure that claims are legitimate and have basis in law. From some of the judgement debts cases, it appears to me that some Judges are not patriotic enough and fail to do due diligence. For example and as reported by the media, one such claims involved a foreign company that had been liquidated in their home country but used the same name to claim millions of dollars from the state through judgement debt in a Ghanaian court. That could never happen in Europe.

It's a subject I intend to explore in a future article. I wonder if some judges get kick backs after the cases.

At the slightest hint of a relationship, our judges would award huge judgements?

It's as if these judgements are based on findings that the state has a duty of care to these individuals or companies no matter how tenuous.

Until we can clean up our judiciary, our democracy falters!

Ironically, most of the departmental heads schooled in reputable institutions outside the country where they were exposed to such things everyday. The Ghanaian leadership is hooked on drugs and have been enslaved to inferiority complexes. Listen to leaders in Ghana calling their brothers and sisters pepeni/pepefour,tani/ntafour. Some even go as far as calling for ethnic cleansing. Words like 'Yen akanfour' should not be used in Ghana. When are we going to mobilize our forces to build the nation? We have refused to do the right things. Until we change our way of thinking and embrace each other, this country will forever remain in the gutters with its citizens.

Marietta Appiah is credibly a good choice for the office she is now occupying as Attorney General. May the Good Lord God bless her richly and more so with enduring good health. Concern Ghanaians can visibly see her good works by defending Ghana against those corrupt Lebanese companies, who are always trying to eat where they had never sowed. It is a fact that Lebanese do not learn in their life. They always want to take someone else property and that clearly is not a thing in this life. I clearly remember these Lebanese people who stole a lot of Ghana's money through very dubious and fraud ways in the 1960 and 1970s'
and cannot believe they have not change a bit. Simply they are crooks.

On our Honoured Attorney General, the Government who appointed her must firmly stand by her to fight all these dubious cases of judgement debts brought into our Courts by all crooks and very corrupt officials and lawyers click. It is very disheartening to always learn of foreign crooks trying hard to work our legal system just to get money from Ghana's coffers. Now, where is Mr Martin Amidu? I reckon he will not bother much to help Mrs Marietta Appiah in all these suits coming into our courts. Mr Amidu, unfortunately, Ghanaians do not appreciate much what they have got in you now. However, the kind heart of yours will certainly encourage you to give assistance whenever you are needed by this current Attorney General, which I believe will be immense credit to your good.

Yes, this Lebanese company, Sweater and Socks, what sort of did they do for Ghana Government during Rawlings time, that they did not collect their money till 2013? Why have they waited till now before going to court? The fact is this is a Civilian Government so they are thinking they can get cheap money. No and No. President Mahama must stand strong behind Mrs Marietta Appiah, the Attorney General he appointed to defend and difeat these crooks as many times as they will appear in our courts. This is the time that all payments of so called judgement debts MUST stop. Enough is enough for Ghanaians and the country.

Our own courts giving money away to Labanese for what ever reason,when we dont have electricity, water and hopitals or schools we the people must come together to stop this so called judgement debt, it must stop now!!!!!
