I don't want to believe that I support the strike but I have a serious reservations with teachers. I don't know if it is because we are so many or because of the distribution. As we embark on issues, then a group emerges to renegade the action. In so doing the government takes us for granted and we have to repeat the same challenges every year. As a colleague once said, teachers cannot be united to do anything just buy ..... for one or two and they get confused

Then in 2012 while my daughter was preparing to write her WASCE her physics and Chemistry master left for South Africa. I WAS QUIET. GNAT and NAGRAT can go ahead with their strike but one day like the popular Nigerian advert has it 'monkey go go market and he no go return' They should not experience my experience.

The sitting president was quick to approve his monthly salary of 150 million cedis but has developed cold feet when it comes to other workers, salaries. The pressure should be on the Government and not on the poor teachers. We should stop turning Ghana into an Animal Farm

I don't think this is the right time for the so called 500 NDC teachers to rub it in. The teachers are not fighting on patisan basis. This is a fight for all teachers and not for a particular party members so if they want to advise themselves if their colleagues rescind their decision to go back to the classroom, then I would advise that the so called 500 members should reject their part of the offer when its cooked. We all have to plead with them to rescind their decision and go back to the classroom and not to send a threat to them. I am also a parent with two children writing the WASSCE and an NDC supporter so please do away with propaganda at this crucial moment and think beyond the party now. NDC members Be serious for once.
