The General Secretary of the New opposition Patriotic Party (NPP), Lawyer Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie popularly known as Sir John has vented his spleen on the former Member of Parliament (MP) for Okaikoi South, Nana Akomea asking him to be careful when dealing with him as the general secretary of the party.

Speaking on Hello FM's Krokrokoo hosted by King Edward on Friday, Sir John described Nana Akomea, who is also the Communications Director of the NPP as a mere appointee of the party; whereas he was elected as the General Secretary.

Sir John’s fury is in reaction to comments by NPP’s Director of Communication, Nana Akomea that his [Sir John] allegation that President Mahama and the National Security masterminded Dr. Bawumia’s accident is not the party’s position.

“Nana Akomea was appointed by the party to speak for the campaign team so he should know his limit and how to address party issues. I stood for elections and won, Nana Akomea was appointed by the party to work for a period”, Sir John lamented.

Lawyer Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie noted that Nana Akomea ‘no longer speaks for the party because he was appointed as Communications Director for the campaign team of the 2012 December elections’.

“Nana Akomea does not speak on an issue unless he has been briefed by me. He must therefore know his limit else I will cut him to size or better still face my wrath if he speaks against me. Though I have no issues against him, I want him to respect my position as the General Secretary” he opined.

Kwesi Pratt is the most dangerous Journalist Ghana had ever have, he had the gut to recommend his fellow journalists to be executed by PNDC. Pratt even recommended Baako to be killed by the regime, thank God Baako was instead touchered violently and severely but his life was spared. This is what Kwesi Pratt can do. Now Pratt is a secret agent to NDC and US Embassy in Ghana. May God forgive Pratt and spare him the untold evils that will come upon him and his generations. The souls of those journalist killed through Pratt's recommendations to PNDC will never forgive Pratt. Now Pratt has the guts to take Diplomatic Passport and smuggled his weak-headed children to work at the Ministries under Mills NDC, may God forgive Pratt and his dependance and spare them of the evils ahead of them.

1. The NDC got the police and some soldiers to attack NPP workers sifting through the papers needed as ebidence for the NPP petition, in the NPP offices in Accra. They claimned they'd been tipped off that the NPP was storing arms there. They found nothing but did mthey apologisew to the NPP? Why should they apologise ifd their objective was to intimidate the workers?

2. They raided the office of the NPP's lady lawyer conducting the case at the time. Again, no apology. Not even a convincing explanation of the burglary could be found.

3. They threatened to bombard the Supreme Court with 29,737 or so "witnesses".

4. When this was ridiculed as an exercise in futility, they brought 327 "joinders'" applications to court.

5. When that also failed ignominiously, they got the madman Kpegah to try to distract Akufo Addo and his lawyers from their work on the case, by filing the most frivolous lawsuit on earth.While waiting for Akufo Addo to countersue Kpegah for slander and/or abusing the process of the court, etc,

6 They have now burnt down the IT department of the Electoral Commission, because the news coming through from Kenya has alerted them to the fact that electronic interference with election results can be easily detected!! Apparently, in Kenya, an opersation similar to the electronic doctoring of results that took place in Ghana in December 2012, took place [in Kenya] in March 2013.

At any rate the fire at the EC office was a very small. The fire that was extinguished by EC's own men using fire extinguishers long before the Fire Service Trucks arrived must be a small fire with little destruction.

Those pointing accusing fingers should take this from me. No delicate and very important institution like the EC would limit the storage of its Data only at its premises or offices; not to talk about this flammable period of time when the Supreme Court is digesting and dissecting evidence from both the complainants and the defendants.
Whatever the cause of the fire may be; be it accidental or intentional needs to be seriously investigated and whoever, individual or group found responsible is heavily punished, even if it is negligence.
With the burning of various public and private establishments on the rise couple with targeted plants like the recent ECG transformer, there is an urgent need for the Government and the private sector to heavily invest in surveillance/security cameras.
These cameras should be placed at vantage and hidden places both inside and outside various establishments.
Trouble streets and vicinities should have street cameras mounted at unreachable heights; this way, even armed robbery could be drastically reduced. Most of these criminals and their agents would easily be caught on tapes.
