Please also know that in England there is no one path way for becoming a lawyer. Generally, students will go Oxford University to read PPE, philosophy, politics and Economic, then proceed to Middle Temple or Lincoln's Inn as former prime minister Mr Blair did and after go for a pupillage with a legal chamber like Lord Irvin's chambers where Mr Blair gain his legal license to practice.

Their CRIMES were rightly ESTABLISHED by the good people of Ghana and they were made to pay. Justice Kpegah has had the benefit of these precedences and the outcomes. So for him, to continue to occupy the place the way he is doing now is nothing but impudent intent to misappropriate a state property for his personal good because he has the political backing. With this exposure, the same measure of justice as was meted out to the previous offenders must be applied. His supporters can help him to relocate now, with whatever honour he has left, because anything short of that will go only one way; nastier.

When I was 23 and just about to graduate from university, my illiterate grandmother called me and let me understand that, as an ashanti and a man, I will be declared useless in the community if I could not build a house for myself by age 35. She indicated that when a man is going to be successful in life, it shows by what they can achieve by that age because 35 is the mid-point in a man's life when your capability start to slow down. This conversation led to my acquirirng a condominium apartment at age 29 and a townhouse three years later. Today I am living in my third detached house in north america. The culture you were born into and grew up in determines your upbringing and outlook on life. I do not envy anybody and at peace with my life so far, and I owe it to the old lady.
Ashantis can teach other tribes these very important lessons about life and being successful. In 1979 and again 1981, Rawlings confistigated property, mostly from Ashantis, and distributed them to his Ewe and Ga cohorts in the name of a revolution. Sold out the govenrment industries to his cronies and what happened, they all collapsed because the recipients had no sense of property owning or managing them successfully. I will tell my friends, especially those from the coast - Ewes, Gas and Fantes that the colonialist did them a disservice by emphasizing on handouts from the govenment. Sort of like the welfare system in north america and elsewhere. Ashantis rely on each other and not on govenrment. Look Kuffour never lived in the castle, he stayed in his own personal house as president and in retirement. Rawlings still wants to live in a government bungalow even after years of retirement and despite having acquired several house illegally. Corruption is everywhere and here in north america, it is pervasive. So I normally do not say this person or that tribe is corrupt. Given the same opportunity, Ewes, Northerners, Fantes, Gas and yes Ashantis will be corrupt, depends on the values and circumstance.
So I am not surprise with Kpegah misusing the welfare property simply because he does not know how to manage property he did not acquire himself. Here in north america, government housing are misused and ghetto because those living in them do not know how to preserve or maintain them. They either have no sense of property ownership or simply do not care. The NPP is a property ownership party in the sense of Ashanti culture.

This dirty old man was paid while on the job and could afford to find his own accommodation but the government goes about finding dwelling for the so called administrators to the detriment of its budget and the tax payer. Recently, occupants have refused to leave the premises when their tour of duty ends. This probably means there will be a shortage and the government will have to build more homes for them or lease from other people. all these are a drain on the economy that needs to be fixed or discontinued. Ghana has lots of problems and some of these have easy solutions but the government lacks the will power due to its guilt of corruption. another example is the endowment to parliamentarians that needs to be abolished and make use somewhere. Ghana must take advantage of the numerous opportunities available to solve some of its problems but who says reason works.

I praise the Young Patriots for instigating Justice Kpegah to reveal publicly the terms and conditions of his service.

I hope the Young patriots are not trying to put some smile on the face of Obetsebi Lamptey and Nana Ado. Well, if this attempt fails with Kpegah, I bet you, there is one area that they will never fail.

They should dig into the history of all the MPs from the beginning of the Second Republic to date. At the beginning of each four-year term every MP is given substantial amount of core dollars to purchase means of transportation.

Just want to know how many MPs pay back the loan by the end of the four-year term before going in for current one? This has gone for a good long years. We may get some refunds if we insist.
