As much as I hate to admit Rawlings was right with his statement. If they have had listen to those who were concern with the president health, he might be alive today.

I hope that this is a SINCERE desire on your part and not another political "save face" propaganda of yours. That you will act swiftly, without any delay or fear or intimidation from the opposition or whomever will try to oppose you.

A good leader is one who is BOLD to make DIFFICULT decisions that are eventually to the betterment of the populace- even if the decisions are unpopular at first, the result of a good decision will always come to light in due course.

I hope that HEADS WILL BEGIN TO FINALLY ROLL not just at the water company but in ALL and ANY institutions that are being RUN DOWN by NATION WRECKERS and SABOTUERS...

You MUST sack without regard to tribe, religion, political and regional affiliation, even if your brother or sister is one of the above, you MUST sack them without favor!

Prez Mahama, if you DON"T make these CRUCIAL nation repairing and building decisions NOW, your legacy will greatly SUFFER. If these decisions are delayed, the corruption and the nation wrecking cancer will fester to the point of irreparability- to a point of no return; then Ghana will indeed attain and remain a failed state. There is still hope, if our leaders are bold to put nation first, and stomach and partisanship second.

The management problem is in all sectors of the economy.There is nothing like productivity,efficiency in Ghana.We sacked the British and replaced it with incompetent managers all across the economy.

Mr. President thanks for the observation. Those managers have the qualification but doesn't know the practical aspect of the job some too are just lazy. they sit in office doing nothing and go for their salary every month.

if you that as you have done severally , you will always be required to do damage control. as a president, please try as much as possible to be convinced of your action before you put it out.

by now, statements from you on the water crisis should not start with "i think". it should be definite. immediate, medium and long term. i hope you got what i mean.

infact if you want to succeed which i wish you do, please get committed and knowledgeable people around you instead of henchmen and praise singers. these knowledgeable characters will be the tubes that will carry "oxygen" to you. they will provide adequate and accurate information through appropriate research and your decision and actions will be spot on.

The Ghana Water Company is not position to provide potable water for all Ghanaians. Water in life, and can prevent many communicable diseases in the system. The introduction of bored holes and small town water projects has helped it little bit. However, there are some problems with individual bored holes because of the location of the bored holes in close proximity to sanitary soak-aways, or drain fields. Ghana need to look at introducing community water supply structures whereby gated communities, educational institutions, hospitals and any like minded residents team up and develop a single system from deep bored hole, and supply or pipe the water to homes of members of the community. This is what is called the Public Utility Districts (PUD) in the USA. These systems could be managed as non-profit cooperative, or for profit BOT (build, operate and transfer) agreement. This will decentralize water supply and take a huge burden off the GWC and government and improve the lives of all Ghanaians.
