Sudan is only an average team, not a world cup team, and this win shouldn't be used as a marker of success for the coach and the team. I believe we can even win all our remaining games and make it out of our group, but seriously, this is nowhere close to a world cup team. Although we have a promising team, we have a long way to go. We want to support Appiah, so hopefully he and his boss Nyantakyi will get their acts together or be gone. It will not do us any good if we support mediocrity.

Appiah still has to work really hard regarding how to vary his game. We were so poor in the first 25 munites of the 2nd half. Any good team could have equalized the 2 first half goals to put more pressure on us. On the whole it's was a good job for the Stars. One down with 3 to go.

During that time, we rather played with counter attack plan because the midfield couldn't handle the pressure. They were clumsy and couldn't handle the possessions at that time. That also path way for us. I say that because if you watched it well Sudan was the ones running with the ball whilst our players were absorbing the pressure. When Sudan couldn't penetrate our defense, Appiah made brilliant quick changes I have ever seen in him since he took office, and these changes paid off.

When have you seen Appiah making three changes between 50th and the 70th minutes like that? POW, I mean 3 changes! Usually, even if Asamoah Gyan is not playing well, this coach still keeps him in the game. Even though we had a good bench as always, for this one he made the changes, he took the chance and it paid off.

With Gyan out in the 52nd minutes, which gave way for Agyemang Badu to come in, it strengthen the midfield and also threatening the opponent's defense because we all know how fast Agyeman Badu is when he gets to the 3/4 section of the pitch. Even not only Sudan is aware of Agyemang Badu's long range shots but the world is aware of that. That alone put pressure on the opponent's defense.

Sulley was controlling the midfield but was a little slow and that brought in Solomon Asante in the 57th minutes, who also sped up the game. This change too put fear in Sudan because their pushing strategy was minimized from then. They were pushing but were a little bit cautious. The momentum switched from there.

Finally, with the introduction of Emmanuel Frimpong in the 67th minutes when Rabiu Mohammed came out, solidified the midfield and gave way to the strikers to push more. All these changes brought in the last two goals which were scored by Abdul Majeed Warris in the 79th minutes and Agyemang Badu 5 minutes later.

POW, the players did well and I don't want to tell you that I told you so on Majeed. We should have included him, like I suggested, to South Africa where we went with only three strikers. I'm sure Appiah is learning for all the mistakes he made.

Both the players and the technical team did well. They have to use this game as a step and improve on the next game.

No player especially Players of Dede and Jordan calibre should be allowed to dictate to Blackstars their terms before they will play. Let them do that to their father's NANIA FC not Blackstars.
