Today we despite a few hiccups, Ghana is touted as one of the best countries is concerned.

The US was the fist to cast all sort of insults on this man saying his "socialist policies" is evil yet, the US has come out is continuing to churn out more socialist policies and taxing the poor to support such policies so, why do they hate Chavez?

During winter time, Chavez will let oil flow to the US freely for the poor yet, their leaders never mentioned this good gesture from this man.

He helped other countries like Nkrumah and Gaddafi did but were accused of misusing their countries' resources meanwhile the accusers have spent billions of dollars in Iraq, Afghanistan and Libya for years and no safety or security and economic enhancement has been achieved so you tell me who has wasted their countries' resources? Chavez or the West? How many have died in Iraq, Afghanistan and Libya through NATO bombs? Could Saddam and Gaddafi have killed this high number of people if they were in power? NO! Was there safety and security in those countries before? YES! Next time when there is a problem in a country let the regional powers help with dialogue rather than an outside power using force to effect regime changes when the UN charter demanded a NO-FLY zone or something different. Greediness and arrogance will take you nowhere.

Conozcan mejor su historia, los invito a que investiguen; yo soy venezolana y afortunadamente conozco la mía.
Si alguno de sus familiares hubiesen participado en esa revolución de 1979 allá en la República de Ghana, estoy segura que pensarían diferente, seguramente no fueran excluyentes ni discriminarían. Tal vez a algunos les fue arrebatada una cuota de poder, eso explicaría tanto resentimiento.
Mis raíces afrodescendientes me impiden quedarme en silencio ante algunos comentarios mal sanos u ofensivos.
Así como mi Presidente Hugo Rafael Chávez Frías, cambió la historia de mi querida Venezuela; Jerry Rawlings de igual manera será siempre un icono y punto de referencia en la historia de Ghana. Al igual que Chávez a burlado la muerte!
