These useless governments have had no policy to conserve water and provide the citizens with regular and clean water supply. They only have policy to give out contracts and make money.

Ghana can learn a lesson from Uganda. It's water & sanitation sector are rated the best in the developed countries. Uganda invested heavily on that sector.

Q: Mr. Charcoal, you are discussing rich people while the topic is water, do you have a comprehension problem?
A: no sir, the rich people who talk like that are all parliamentarians, who have more water than they need, hence the reason why they skillfully avoid any substantive discussions about meeting the basic needs of the masses, ( their victims) who blindly follow them.

All praises to Capitalism, for giving Ghana greedy, visionless, super rich, arrogant, political leaders, and a population wallowing in abject poverty, deprived of the most basic necessities of life.

WATER? WHAT WATER? Our swimming pools are quite full , we are safe till 2016, when we can promise them some more sweet sounding nothings, they go for it always.

One can disrespect politicians all day long and that's fine with me. However, our people are victims of imperialism's neocolonial leaders, the masses are not criminals, to disrespect them is idiotic and criminal.

When you travel around the globe, especially and advanced countries, what you would realise is that all media houses, be they print or electronic, promotes issues of national interest and benefits. they publish and broadcast inormation that insights patriotism and Nationhood. Unfortunately in Ghana, media houses take up the colors and fights for political parties. When you wake up every morning your greeted by debates on which party or government should be blamed for our failure. I think that journalism and media practice in Ghana is a shame and embarassment to the media world

I recently spent a fortnight holiday with a friend in Ghana. I was greatly disturbed and inconvenienced by the rampant and frequent cuts of water and electricity without notice and for long periods -12 hours or so. There I was sweating in the heat, unable to sleep without a fan and smelling without a shower. The irony is that I found the Weija reservoir full to bursting. This is disgraceful indeed for a country that is clamouring for tourists and boasting about how developed it is. It is not every tourist that can stay in a 5 star hotel. Why cant some African nations get their priorities right?

These are scary times since Ghana is going back to the dark-stone ages and our leaders/politicians don't care a bit due to their easy access to state treasurers.

It is time to evacuate the boat and head to the greener pastures.
