NPP TRANFORMED GHANA TO A MIDDLE INCOME ECONOMY WITH LIMITED RESOURCES BUT GOOD POLICIES. NDC IS WOEFULLY REVERSING THESE NPP ACHIEVEMENTS. GHANA'S CURRENT SITUATION IS VERY DISTURBING. WHEN THE HISTORY IS TOLD, IT WILL BE SAID THAT GHANAIANS WERE OFFERED FREE SECONDARY EDUCATION, IMPROVED UNIVERSAL HEALTH CARE, SOCIAL HOUSING FOR THE POOR AND AN EGALITARIAN SOCIETY BUT 50% SAID NO THANK YOU. THEY PREFERRED ECONOMIC "WOYOMISATION" , PHANTOM DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS, PHILANDERERS FOR LEADERS, MACHIAVELLIAN DISRESPECTFUL CORRUPT LOUTS AND A VISIONLESS EVIL GOVERNMENT. No sane person is worried about the teachers strike because we have seen the worst when the doctors went on strike.
Most of us have our children in private schools which have hardly been affected by this so called strike.

By the time the teachers collect their money, two students will turn to armed robbers. the robbers will way lay these same teachers and teach them a lesson in single spine economics by taking away the money.
It is even very sad that teachers hailing from local communities with poor BECE records have refused to help the pupils prepare for their exams.
WAEC is no respecter of strikes so the country should get ready for half baked students who can only aspire to be foot soldiers

My question is, have the Ghanaian teacher changed and now spending time teaching in the classroom? From experience, I remember the teachers’ only showing up in class once a while and spending their time trading to make extra money. Most of our kids cannot read or write, and most are not passing their exams, so why pay them more money? They should be paid based on performance. All the schools that have good passing grades should be paid more and the less productive teachers paid less until they can bring the kids grades up.
